Fish donks 3rd heart otr...

Poker Stars $0.08/$0.16 No Limit Hold'em - 5 players
DeucesCracked Poker Videos Hand History Converter

Hero (CO): $21.75
BTN: $24.22
SB: $21.50
BB: $16.00
UTG: $16.00

Pre Flop: ($0.24) Hero is CO with 8 A
1 fold, Hero raises to $0.40, 1 fold, SB calls $0.32, 1 fold

Flop: ($0.96) 4 A 9 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.72, SB calls $0.72

Turn: ($2.40) 2 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $1.92, SB calls $1.92

River: ($6.24) Q (2 players)
SB bets $2.08

I had this particular player marked as a huge fish, except I noticed that whenever he missed draws he seemed to fold the river a ton. But I mean c'mon, a backdoor flush? like htf does he show up with 2 hearts here? I was at a lost for what to do here.

Stats would be nice... Especially as it looks as though you have a good number of hands on him? Is he ultra passive or an aggro tard??

Also ideas on his donking tendnacies?

well you see whenever he's IP and has floated me like 2 streets (lol) I check to to bluff catch, he bombs the river and I snap with basically any pair and its good. but that's when he's IP. OOP is different I think. like why donk out so randomly? I know he's a giant fish and I can't really use logic to analyze him, but he's gonna have it sometimes, and I felt like this just might be it...

Re: Fish donks 3rd heart otr...

That's a very dry flop... thinking not even fish are just floating a super dry ace-high flop with air (then calling a turn brick unless they did pick up the flush draw). I think he has at least a pair most of the time. If he had a Axhh or 4xhh, he could've made the flush by the end. He could also have made two pair on that Q. Or he could flopped 2p or a set that he was slow-playing but then didn't want you to check back on the river b/c of the third heart. If you know he folds his bricked draws on the river, I think you're mostly beat, because I doubt he donks with something like a bare ace. It's such a good price, I hope for spaz and never fold, though.
