villain is a good reg 29/23
wtsd/w$sd/wwsf 25/47/51 in 40k+ hands
OR BTN 46
Fold to 3bet vs blinds 52
4bet/4bet Range 11/4,61

Note preflop: 4Bets IP SC 76s+

cbets ip in 3bet pots flop/turn 79/54
bet vs miss cbet 3bet pot IP flop/turn 52/73
Bet river 3bet pot 44

Note Postflop:
[Call3betIP] board [82Jr] bet 1/3 backdoors, checks when turn is a blank and bet again 1/2 on river when a scary card land (A)

Preflop is std IMO
on the flop maybe i should donk bet 1/3 pot
OTT i got 2 pairs so i think is a good spot to bet 3/4
then OTR since he is an agressive player my plan here is to X/C any amount from 3/4 or less.
i even think "the only way i'm folding here is if he overbets me" and BOOM he did it.

how you guys would played this hand from the flop?
what would you do facing that river overbet shove?

Raise preflop larger (8x-9x). It cuts down on buttons odds for calling in position. Increases our value post flop, versus worse hands. Villain might fold 52% of time, to 3bet from blinds, but he will be calling most of the hands, that open the button, when getting 2 to 1, and playing 120x+ deep.

Good call against 4bet.

Lead flop for value. Villain has many worse hands, that will call a bet, but check back if we check. It induces worse hands to raise. They can think, we are bluffing alot, because most of our strong hands, would c/r this flop.

Check for maximum value. Most hands that will call a bet would fire turn (given read) after being checked two for a second time. Hands that will fold to a turn bet, will fire a bluff. We under represent our hand, play it similar to KK/JJ/TT/KQ/QJ, allow our opponent to put in the most with worse, and reduce losses when behind. Leading turn has its advantages too. Check is the better play to extract maximum value versus villains range.

Fold river. Listen to your senses. After playing 40K hands with an opponent, you should develop, an "in-game" feel. You probably sized up the situation correctly, villain would fire 40-60% pot with worse, and would fire 130%+ pot with better, with high and reliable frequency. Villain probably had backdoored diamond flush (KJ).

Thanks for your reply Mike, i will definitely consider making larger 3bets against his min open raise in btn.
i'm agree i should have lead in lead on the flop, i think not only this villan but many other will call a bet with many worse hands. even if he raises me i can think about continuing with my hand against his range full of suited conectors.

after reviewing the hand off the tables i concluded that a X/R all in on the turn was the best option, what do you think about it?

What you say about sized up the situacion correctly makes me feel more confident about my decision. thanks again.

Leading with the intention of shoving over a raise for value. He will have worse hands much more often than KK/AA/sets/2pairs.

Check call turn for reasons above. CRAI folds out some hands that would have bet river, allows opponent to fold AJ or worse (some percentage of the time), and allows him to maximize value with better.
