I've been thinking alot lately about why I do things at the poker table, how I make decisions, and just really analyzing the decisions I make when playing. I saw a thread like this about a year ago but haven't seen it done uNL style. SOOO lets roll...Here are the thoughts I have that cost me money:

"I'm gonna rep the flush"
"Whatever no way that duece helped your hand"
"This seems like a good spot to triple barrel"
"I think he's bluffing a busted flush draw"
"that flop missed most of his range, I'm gonna check raise"
"meh I'm not that drunk, I think I'm gonna play some poker"

Post the thoughts you have that burn money

"i think my A high is good"
"ive just droped 5 buyins and im on tilt, time to move up stakes"!

"haven't played omaha in a while..."
"no way he called all those bets with a gutshot. He couldn't have hit it"
"i guess i could be ahead"
"oh well if i lose at least i'm still up for the session"
"oh ****, i'm running out of time"
"donks never get aces!"

I bet a lot of peeps think:

"If I fold this hand, they are just going to run me over later."

c/raising flops that miss his range is +ev yo

(guy plays back after folding 10 million times in a row)

"he's getting sick of me obv"

"time for a Hero call"
"time to run over this donk with a double barrel on a scare card"
"another donkbet? time to raise his *** and push him off"
"**** I just lost 3BIs, time to add 3 tables and play twice as long!"
