Re: Common uNL Leaks: Part 1

Long time lurker, first time poster.

I'm a huge fan of both Sirlin and Verneer. Sirlin articulates my thoughts on competetive gaming better than I ever could and Verneer single-handedly made me a winning poker player with his "Crushing the Micros" series on CR. Massive respect to both of these geniuses. But enough ass kissing...

Sirlin's Free E-Book should be read by anyone who competes in anything. The rest of the site isn't too shabby either.

Awesome post. Thanks again.

Re: Common uNL Leaks: Part 1

Thanks read ...wish i had known bout this earlier. Had a table where i was 3-betted like 4 times by 3 differnent villians in like 2-orbits and i stayed and leaked away chips. Surprised at the frequency of 3 bettors in 25 nl .

Re: Common uNL Leaks: Part 1

Great article by Verneer.
I just would like to add one thing, when you´re winning at your stakes for a good sample and are rolled for the next level, I believe it might be a good idea to actually invert table selection and try the hardest ones before starting taking shots at the higher level. That might sharpen your game a little before the new battle comes...

Re: Common uNL Leaks: Part 1

U sir are giving veeery valuable information, and ur effort on this forum is enormous.
i guess everyone knows about table selection, its just that it needs to be written down and be read before anyone aplies the knowledge.

I will start from now on 16tabling and thinning the filed down to 4.

greatest thnx verneer.
