Villain here is unknown, no history with him but I made an assumption he is a fish due to shortstacking. Im never folding flop here because from my experience fishes can pot size donk just about any two cards otf. Should I raise turn more here though? I think he is calling with all 9x which he can have like T9s and A9s and given I made an assumption of him being a fish I doubt he wont fold any overpairs either.

Why are you raising turn? You fold out his air which he may continue to spazz with on the river and you are way behind everything else.

We currently have 7 high (but a tonne of equity) and even his air beats us, would be the reasoning I imagine.

Kinda tough because I don't expect to raise and not get shoved on because we're looking at trips or boats or an overpair being overvalued by this fish for some reason.

I think given the fact that V has pot it twice stack sizes are now awkward and if you're going to raise you're pricing yourself out of folding so I think you've got to jam if you think he can do this with air or flat (my preferred option). I don't think this fish is ever not paying you off when you hit.

I get that that's the logic, but your implied odds are great and I don't see the raise as anything but spew personally. Sizing is more than not a tell as well. Call is best imo by a wide margin.

Ya I agree. Against a better V with less obvious sizing this might actually be a very good turn to raise on, but donks from fish are like always TP+ and pot size donks and barrels are even stronger.

Judging by the sheer size of the donking here I think you very rarely have any fold equity whatsoever, but a load of implied odds, so I prefer the call. If this was the usual crappy donk I would be raising flop or turn though for sure.

Thanks for answers. Now thinking maybe flatting vs fish is better but if villain was reg raise is fine imo. If we flat river and make straight or flush we are very likely to stack off fish on river.
