Hi, decided to raise here on flop because he has a very high contibet rate (80%). pretty much gave up after it didn't work, but river was 4 so I decided to call, I should probably fold it right?

Don't raise flop. If he cbets a lot you can just call for SDV and often pick up the pot OTT. Raising isolates yourself vs a range that has you crushed and you have no barrel equity. You can pick way better hands to bluffraise here.

As played it's a standard call, he can be vbetting worse.

Just fold flop

You have **** equity vs his bluffs and value hands and your hand isn't strong enough to get 2 streets of value vs anything he has

If he continues with a large range of hands then raising makes no sense if the only hands he is calling with beat you. You should be flatting here knowing you are ahead of his range and raising with something stronger knowing you will get called by worse.

your hand equity has v low equity vs the hands that continue OTF after your raise

Even if he cbets 100% of hands on the flop this is a clear fold
