50nl: river action/sizing

Villain was running 58/19 1.75AF over around 50 hands, pretty standard fishy guy.

River a good spot to c/r or overbet?

Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

UTG: €59.04
CO: €50.00
BTN: €42.93
SB: €50.25
Hero (BB): €53.46

SB posts SB €0.25, Hero posts BB €0.50

Pre Flop: (€0.75) Hero has 5 2

fold, fold, BTN calls €0.50, fold, Hero checks

Flop: (€1.25, 2 players) 3 T 6
Hero bets €0.83, BTN raises to €2.25, Hero calls €1.42

Turn: (€5.75, 2 players) 4

Was gonna say overbet without reading your comments, so overbet is an option

but then I realized that he c/r'd the flop and I dont think many fish have toppair when they do that so its not like "oh he has trips everytime, lets jam".

Meh, I actually think I b/f 12 lollars

definitely don't check/raise. this guy is calling with more worse hands than betting for sure imo.

C/r is bad against a loose passive because he'll check behind with a bunch of good stuff.

I also don't think c/r is good in general with how this hand is played out because he can have all full houses and better flushes.

Bet/fold.

I'd bet fold around 60% pot.

Re: 50nl: river action/sizing

You can target Tx and jam or target 6x,88 type hands and bet close to pot. Betting smaller than that is missing value for sure.
