£50nl: inter-desting line

villan is fish 45/18

Hero (BB): $61.13 (122.3 bb)
BTN: $45.85 (91.7 bb)
SB: $59.34 (118.7 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 7 5
BTN raises to $1, SB folds, Hero calls $0.50

Flop: ($2.25) 4 6 A (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $2.25, Hero calls $2.25

Turn: ($6.75) 5 (2 players)
Hero bets $1.50, BTN calls $1.50

River: ($9.75) 5 (2 players)
Hero bets $9.75, BTN calls $9.75

call pre LDO.

he pots the flop, we have OESD/BDFD. I would usually c-r regs here, but I dont think this dude is every folding an A. so I call, pot it too.

Turn: I expect them to make a large bet here again, prob pot, ill have to fold as im not getting odds. So I take a inter-desting line of leading small into him to set my own price for the river. He is a fish so even if he min-raises my lead im getting great odds to call. if he pots ill fold.

river. value

I think your line is fine. Could consider donking flop for the same reason you donked turn.

It's a minraise, we're last to act, and we're against a fish. We should be calling here with literally our entire range. The fact that he only bets big (pot), means that we should be more inclined to call, not less. Our implied odds are bigger, even if it means that we have to give up on some of our weaker draws.

Re: £50nl: inter-desting line

I'd rather c/c turn, you get money from air, and often times your mini-bet does exactly the opposite of what it's intended to, as villain can easily make it 8 with a hand like AQ and now you're paying 1.50 more to see the turn than if you had checked. It might be okay if the bet has a side benefit of getting value from worse hands sometimes, but in this situation there isn't much value.

As played on river I'd c/r, get more money from Ax.
