50 NL AA oop against laggish Russian

Snap poker on 888 don't have the hh. Not many players so I've seen him in a bunch of hands . Plays kinda loose.
6 handed and we have $55. V covers
Villain UTG make its 1.5 and we make it 4.2 in the BB with AA. He thinks for a bit and flats.
Flop is JJ5 dd.
We check. I like checking because I am sure he will bet most flops.
He bets $6. WE call
Turn K: we check again. Want to give him some more rope.
He bets $11. We call again.
River 10, we check again...he jams it in...just a little more than pot.
I checked with the intention of calling a modest bet, but now I am not so sure. Does he ever have air here? A missed flush draw or anything?

Easy call? Why would you slow play it to fold in the end? Makes zero sense to me..
