I limp preflop which I dont do unless there's fish and chances of getting raised are lower. SB is a fish who likes min betting a lot. I feel it's pretty hard to say what he had because the line he took was so weird. I dont think he would raise OESD OTF and KK would have raised pre so I guess 99 or two pair seem like the most likely options but in these situations fish tend to show up with strong hands so I didnt go for the call.

Yeah I didnt wanna just call his 3bet with set but if my 4bet gets 5bet I felt like I would be almost always behind so thats the fishy line I ended up with xD

Fist pump insta call, shows up with 99 here so rarely, more often he thinks his KJ is the nuts.

1. 4b is bad sizing

2. >SB is a fish who likes min betting a lot.

You're saying he's a fish yet not calling with basically the nuts vs his range?

I guess I'm fish too then. It's just that if someone jams all-in many times the size of the pot it often means they have the nuts. I agree I should have called and I miscalculated the spot at the time.

Sorry, I didn't mean it like that, I meant you think he's a fish (e.g. a bad player who will call off with a worse range vs you), but when you have a value hand you're not getting it in.

What is his range?

Estimating his range is extremely hard. That was pobably first time he raised postflop. From hands that beat me KK, QJ and TT are unlikely and 99 is posibble. There's possibility of him just tilt shoving but maybe some strong FDs and combination draws are in his range as well. So I agree it is a clear call.

I would fold or open pre. AP more otf and more ott and I'm snapping this guy off. Flopping a set vs a 66/18 is how you make a lot of money quickly.

You should open, your hand is good enough. Only reason you limped was to hit a set against a fish, you hit a set against a fish and you folded against pressure. Board allows lots of draws and fishes tend to love those, he also could feel like he has to shove to protect is TPTK/doubles against draws (because he doesn't know any better). Flop 5bet bigger and don't hesitate to GII when he gives you the chance.
