Villian is 19/15/9 over 114 hands

He had already 3bet me & I called with AJs in pos... A74 came I got a Cbet
out of him & that was it.

There was a pretty big fish in bb,, dunno if that tightens his 3bet range
and turns some of his range into calls... it should !!! but dunno
This guy seem to kinda mess around with 3bets somewhat but he wasn't too
crazy.

Were also alittle deep I have 125BB's
I instantly felt when he 3bet me that there was a decent change he was
messing around.

My ? is if I think there's some 3bet bluffs in his range here. What is optimium
Should I turn my hand into a bluff & 4bet, or just flat.
Approximately what % of the time would he have to 3bet bluff me here for
a 4bet to be optimium.

Being OOP without the initiative in a 3b pot with 99 is a horrible situation.

i would just fold until you get more info to be certain he really is a 3bet monkey.

tbh calling 3bets with AJ is really bad as well.

to answer ur question im not sure what the exact percentages would be to warrant 4betting with 99 oop. if i did 4 bet, i would shove to make sure he didnt flat and force me to play a difficult hand oop.

overall ur better off waiting for something like AK tho

also you can always move tables. aggressive 3bettors behind u make it difficult to take advantage of the fish

this is fine as you know he gives up a lot on turns or in general in 3bet pots

No way I'm folding 99 or AJs to a 3bet vs a more aggressive reg

If I fold these type of hands to these guys, I'd probably never
play a hand, cause these days the microstakes are getting super aggro.

99 plays too bad postflop oop for me to want to call with it here unless i have some sort of good read that lets me get away with it. i dont think your previous history is really enough.

come on be serious. Way more likely to check the turn with those hands when hes taken the passive line on the flop trying to get to sd then to bluff on the turn with them. so he is more likely going to call with those hands then to bet...
