Should I be calling the c/r here or is this raise okay? After he flats my re-raise, I'm really not putting him on a set, but maybe with the uncoordinated board he could be slowplaying???

BB checks, Hero bets $0.75, BB raises to $2.00, Hero calls $1.25
My plan was that no one at this level is check/raising twice with less than JJ here (aka I'm beat 99.99% of the time). I think this is where I made my biggest error in the hand by calling. Do you guys think the bet is okay or should I just check and evaluate the river? The call is bad obviously.

BB bets $7.27 and is all-in, HERO????
Now he overbet shoves. That made me even more curious because why in the hell would he do that with a holding he is confident is ahead? Does he just assume I'm calling anything on the river at this point? Any help on this hand would be appreciated! Im very inexperienced playing this deep and I underestimated how much the hands play themselves at 100BB or less.
