Flat flop. Raising isn't for value or a bluff so it pretty much sucks here.

As played I'd fold. The odds aren't really there to draw.

What was your reasoning for raising flop?

This is now way that call or especially raise flop can be profitable.

See, we might call flop if CO folds but when he continues along with initial preflop raiser - we dasically done because we have such a little equity vs two ranges.

The probability of one of them holding top pair or better is too high and you don't have good chances to improve.

Flop raise makes no sence, you´re basically turning your hand into a bluff.
Flat flop, as played, fold.

To get hands like AK to fold, thinking it was just a standard cbet

I highly doubt he bets there with much air, cause it's 3way and the board connects with your and the other caller's range. And if we raise we just isolate ourselves vs a very strong range.

If our opponent (initial preflop raiser) bets almost no air then what hands he bets for value that we beat?

He does bet some air We beat none of his value range otf, fold flop can't be too bad but raising is bad imo.

Ha fair enough....I get the impression the raise was bad.

Just to explain my thinking though....and is is something I do quite a lot OOP - I 3b to try and find out where I am, figuring either he lays down Ax etc, or he comes back over the top with something big. I always feel like I'm being too passive just check calling, but maybe I'm not. Problem with the way I do is when they just flat I'm totally stuck.

Would you just check call this until the calls get to big/the board gets too scary?

Check articles, books or videos about theme "reasons to bet" and get enlightenment

Basically you can only bet for value, for bluff or for taking down dead money. None of this reasons behind your raise.

This is not good reasoning. I recommend reading some poker books to find out reasons for betting, checking etc.

raise for bluff or value - not to know where you are.
