Re: 25NL Zoom - Flush + Guts Turn, 4Bet Pot
pretty clear spot to take our equity to the river with a check.
villain is not folding a turn barrel on that card after he c/c flop in a 4bet pot.
bit bigger otf

I think the turn is definatly a check as you pick up a lot of equity and a T in a 4b pot even though it's an over card it's almost a blank as it shouldn't be much of your range... if he has JJ+ he's definatly shoving here so the check would be the best way i think and then if you hit the river you can definately get paid off, don't really see what kind off hands you want to scare off with the ten btw... In a 4b pot the very worst you can expect from him is AK i think he's range is pretty narrow to TT+ imo

Re: 25NL Zoom - Flush + Guts Turn, 4Bet Pot
Yeah I'm not double barreling, we pick up alot of EQ on turn and would prefer to take the free card, we are getting next to nothing to fold by betting here as it doesnt connect with our range well, and just leaving ourselves in a bad spot on the river if he calls our bet and we miss our outs.
Just take the free card, re evaluate river.

Re: 25NL Zoom - Flush + Guts Turn, 4Bet Pot
Maybe a miss click in the bet size pre. Really small.
Defend here is std, can't fold. I said he defends in blinds for the third time, second against me. I have one blocker.
Flop: all broadways he misses, to me is a std cbet in this wet board.
Turn: a) what overcard can I second barrel here? b) OOP, i.e. SB vs BB, what's your play?
Thx thx.

He overs you a free card and about half the deck is an out for you. Why wouldnt you check back and see what to do on Ye river once you see that card.
Also because of the 4bet size and the history between you 2 I'd say it's safe to Assume he can have a lot of pocketpairs in his range. So not sure if cbetting that flop is all that good.

Re: 25NL Zoom - Flush + Guts Turn, 4Bet Pot
If you expect villain to continue a narrow range to your 4bet then check back flop.
If you expect villain to continue a wide range to your 4bet then your 4bet is bad.
Fwiw I would flat the 3bet because of sizing, if you must 4bet at least make it bigger.

fold pre > 4 bet bigger > when called give up > as played check back and don't make the situation worse

Re: 25NL Zoom - Flush + Guts Turn, 4Bet Pot
Don't really like the idea of double barreling in a 4b pot without a legit hand. The 4b is ok pre, other than the small sizing, but once he flats just give up. You only have 45 hands on the villian, so you really don't have a good idea of his 3b range yet.

Re: 25NL Zoom - Flush + Guts Turn, 4Bet Pot
your flop bet is kinda meh with no history. you 4b pre now you bet 1/3 pot in a 4b pot. your line doesnt make sense for a big hand.
as played i think id prolly check given the size of the pot. had you bet larger on the flop its a pretty easy bet call.
if i were to bet though and rep a strong hand it would not be half pot. id bet 8 or 9 and call a shove
