Has Drag The Bar or another training site recently released a uNL video advocating a lot of preflop 3-betting? I've noticed roughly a doubling of the number from this week to last. It's funny because the guys who are doing it seem absolutely lost when called by a guy in position. They're clearly not comfortable with the position they've put themselves in.

I think there is probably some room for increased 3betting preflop against non-maniac recreational players at 25NL, but this week has been insane.

Yup, the next big thing is frequent 4betting, starting next week.

On a serious note, no, of course not. Trends change fast in poker, but not that fast. It's just variance.

After taking 2 years off poker id come back to the micros this year. Dno about 25nl, but in 10nl 3betting and calling 3bets have both increased alot. It's actually insane. Im curious about this too

Days are different.
Today there were a lot of nits on the tables, and no 3-bet pots.
Some days there are 2 lags at the table.

Last Friday, I made my initial deposit on Bovada and I am working my way up to getting back involved online. It has been quite a while since I played online and even longer since being involved in the micro-stakes.

Currently, I am grinding my way through 25NL Zone. It's going fine but I have noticed that the play is significantly different than what I thought it would be. I have found quite a bit of 3! and squeezing - FAR more than I would have thought would exist at this level. Fortunately, it seems that most have no idea how to effectively utilize these tools.

I should be moving up to 50NL Zone shortly (setting 20BI mins for each level I move to up until 100NL and after that, I will be using 30BI+) - I'm interested to see if this trend of frequent 3!, 4!, and squeezing continues, grows larger, or differs at that and subsequent levels.

I looked but I didn't find any threads that successfully discussed specific strategy for Zone. I do believe that just playing a nit-style will win but I do not think that's optimal.

At 100nl+ it's becoming every day life. Lot of squeezing going on.
You can use the strategy at any limit, just make sure you have good logic at what ever you are doing.
