Fold pre, however you can call because of the odds but just in order to stack off the full stack, TP is not the way to do it, I wont be putting money in here only with TP...

Call pre is good.
River is best played as x/c, not many worse hands that will call and allows villain to bluff. Super weird spot though as BTN shouldn't have any 9x in their flatting 3bet range or sets that play this passively. You'll need to defend with 30% of your range, so plug in your range you have here and figure it out. My guess is we'll defend w full houses & 9x obviously and then some Jx, this is our best Jx to defend with since it blocks T9 and has no clubs.

Isn't JTs a standard open from MP? Now I'm really curious. :P

I was thinking the hand played itself to the turn and I felt like I had to bet my hand for protection. Not really sure if it's correct multiway?

TY!

Yeah maybe check calling would be better. My thoughts behind my river bet was to get called by some PP's and also get a cheap showdown if he has something like AsJs or AhJh. I never really except him to raise those hands as I believe this board should hit my range way better than his.

JTs should be a std open from any position. I think McHares meant fold pre to the 3b, but I think it's perfectly fine to call here, especially with BTN cold-calling.

As others have said, betting river isn't good because there is so little you're getting value from. 3 combos of TT and *maybe* some 88/77, but you should be very wary of value-owning yourself against better Jx and 9x. Your hand works better as a bluffcatcher IMO

Think river is an easy fold though. BTN can have plenty of 9x and badly played straights, though not many boats IMO. Plus, if we think he's fishy he can do this crap with better Jx.
