I'm tracking villian who has a healthy stack and I'm well placed to get it. His primary stats are: VP46/PFR9/AG4.3 over 94 hands.
I have a stack of notes. He is not a fishy as his stats say...mainly because he knows when to fold, so getting paid off is a little tricky. He makes a lot of small/tiny bets on flop and turn, usually when drawing. He folds to strength, but raises if he has it. He will barrel all the way if you show weak or he has strong.
My stats are very laggy for this game. In the main because I have been feeding of his PF limping and minir raises to see a lot of flops. I'm about 37/19but with AG of 8. He seems to want to get in V me, and has folded me out a couple times late in hands.
I plan the hand when he mini raises me pre flop. I flat to keep him in and if ace comes I'm not committed, but otherwise I'll valuetown the flop. When I hit the king I know he is betting and I'm trading value for slowpay against the expectation that he will bet again.
I'm loving it all until he gives up and bugs out. I was not expecting that.
Clearly many things I could have done differently...what line would you take against this villian and in the game situation as described.
