bet/calling imo
he has very few 89 combo's in his range (89ss, maybe 89dd)
AK would high likely squueze PF (and prob fold OTF)
Mayeb JJ, but would prob fold flop

So when he raises turn he also has 2pair combo's and maybe even semi-bluffs. And even if he has us beat with a straight we still have lots of outs.

OTR: i think you should fold. Your bet was kinda small OTT which makes it more likely he called with some combodraw and now having hit the straight.

Like the idea of this thread OP

The hand, to cbet ot not to cbet? I figured my hand couldn't take a c/r ai on the flop, so i didn't cbet. I wanted to c/c and c/f any brick turn... Good or not?

i think c/c flop is fine. If we bet we will only get called by worse hands like TT , JJ with a club. So i prefer checking to keep his ranger wider and to keep the pot smaller
OTT: i wouldn't mind to check it again, hoping to induce bets from bluffs (obv never folding). No he is always folding unless he has Ax, or a pair with a club prob.

As played: Bet smaller OTR, like $4,50

Is this 99-QQ enough of the time? (since he's a nit, I don't put many big draws in his range to either call pf with or to play aggro post, but it might get him to play overs faster and widen my perceived range for the shove, if he even thinks about that stuff)

if the OP isn't at least QQ, yes
(and most of the time they raise/3bet QQ+ PF)

Dwarrior: Given positions, this is probably a fold.
If he was on the BTN, it's closer to a stack off, cause he'll have more flushdraws IP than from the BB. loldonk's point about us having the Ad makes this even more of a fold.

i dislike turn sizing. idk if that's you standard but i'd make it ~7. and even if it is your std you don't have to worry about balance against that guy so just bet big.
and yes river is b/f
