your vpip/pfr looks fine, but any sample that has you winning from one of the blinds is far too small to make any other conclusions

I know it's a small sample size, but what do I seem to be doing poorly?

Whats the easiest way to post my stats in this thread? I can't figure out how to insert an image.

Thanks.

Ok took at look at them. The ones that jump out the most are:

VPIP too high, try to bring it down to 25 Tighten up your hand selection pre flop.

Raise more pre-flop instead of limping so much.

CCPF = 18.42. Way too high. You are loosing a lot of money calling raises pre flop, eithe re-raise or fold.

SB VPIP = 52.87 way too high, you are over-defending your small blind, though somehow up $.

So, you seem to be defending your blinds a little too much.

Position: you dont seem to be playing to postion, as much, playing a lot of hands in early and mid position. Consider tightening up here.

Your button win % is pretty low.

Attempt to steal = 15.85. way too low, evey 30.00 is considered tight. Get this up to 30 for starters.

Start stealing more blinds

play tighter until you're more comfortable with your post flop play.

That's still a pretty small sample. 10k hands isnt really a large sample either But, I'm guessing you aren't able to or do not put people on ranges most of the time and generally only look at your hands in order to figure out what to do. I would look at posts on here about determining opponents ranges from bet-sizing, position, and their stats. I think that will help the marginally positive blue line and neg red line

Any thoughts.. Its a low sample size but Stars has been owning me while I have been doing relatively well on Full Tilt so I thought it was time to analyze my stars game and see if its actually different.

Sorry the pictures are small not sure what to do about that.

Was hoping someone could find some leaks here. Did well at 100NL from July 20-August 24. After that, I dropped to 50NL and have continued to lose it as the graphs show.

July 20-Present

August 24-Present (Downspiral Begins)

August 24-Present (SD and NonSD Winnings)

August 24-Present General Stats

August 24-Present Details

August 24-Present Hands

August 24-Present Positions

Obviously I ran a little better in the from July 20-August 24 but I know there are other factors, perhaps some results oriented tilt. Anything is appreciated...

Hey guys!

This is my first post here. I started playing holdem a month ago. I started at 2nl. Today I reached 10k hands. I would appreciate any advice on my first months of play.

hey everyone,

I have just played around 12k hands at 25nl after a break.
I was just looking for some help, mostly regarding my blind play, I know I am running hot but still want to work on my game, my focus with the big blind is to just play very tight as I seem to get owned if I loosened up at all, I really suck at 3bet pots OOP. Also any other stats that seem astray? I am running slightly bad in the BB, but works out to be losing at a rate of -0.23BB/hand EV adjusted, is this acceptable?

I am starting to experiment with 3betting lighter against regs, mostly in position, and it seems to be working okay.

Anything else I can try, any leeks anyone can see?

Thanks.

I posted this in Beginners Forum before I found this thread - sorry for the double post - but I think this one would be more appropriate.

Hello,

Long story (but not post!) short, I've been playing poker for about 1year now, my bankroll has been living on bonuses/rakeback/easy mode 2-3$ sng/easy cashgames (Everest Poker /lol) as i am a marginal losing/break-even player.

I've decided to get things straight and figure out NL10 6max on FTP, wanting to gain a good 25 more buyins before moving on to the next level (I'm at ~30 buyins atm). I got myself Hold'em Manager.

Here are my stats for the past 12k hands.

(1)Graph

(2)Overall stats (LeakBuster)

(3)Positional stats

(4)River hand strength stats

If I can make some observations out of this:

#1 - Red line on (1) is -bb/100, which probably means I don't win enough pots on bluffs/semi-bluffs; question is, do I really need to at NL10?

#2 -Aggression factor on (2), it looks rather high. Thoughts? What could be the reason? How should I fix it?

#3 - VPIP/PFR on (2), I look rather tight for 6max, what hands am I not playing that I should be? Also, see (3) for VPIP/PFR by position.

#4 - SB, BB, mid & cutoff on (3) are losing positions. I understand SB and BB, but why mid & cutoff?

#5 - One pair hands on (4) is a HUGE losing showdown hand, do I stack off too easily with one pair hands?

Thanks for reading this huge wall of text, you don't need to answer to all of these questions - one answer and I will be grateful!

There is a big mix between runbad and playbad in here.... I have a hard time folding and have somewhat figured that out am on a $500 upswing after starting the month on a $500 downswing so its looking better... but are there any glowing differences you can see between 25 and 50NL?? or any positional worries?

Thanks in advance.

Hi guys,

Been lurking here since early September, coincidentally the first time I started playing poker was early September too. I started with 90 dollars and started playing 2/5 NL on Pokerstars. Early on I felt like I was doing well and got my roll up to 180 and then through poor BR management fell down to ~20. I tightened up and got it back up to around 120 only to have it fall to its lowest point today. I decided it was time I sought help. I JUST downloaded PokerTracker 3 last night so I have around 1500 hands on there but today was my worst day ever and I want to improve, I have played more hands than this and I feel it is indicative of my play style on a whole. I understand I am breaking rule 1 but any insight is greatly appreciated. These are all in 2/5 NL on Pokerstars. Please if possible give any advice other than standard or variance if all possible.

I dont really have a defined play style so I will let the numbers speak for themselves

Here are some more stats from PT3

and

I had some really bad beats today so I thought I would throw these graphs up as well...

and finally

Thanks in advance guys for any help possible, once again I know the sample size is tiny but I have to do be doing something wrong.

I just finished ~10k hands of 25NL, and the first 5k I was running good, but the last 5k I have hit a wall. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Can anyone look at my stats and give me some insight on how I can improve overall?

Note: The green stats are my 1st 5k, the red are my 2nd 5k hands.

Thanks

Sick stats- nice small difference between VPIP and PFR, PFR doesnt need to be too much higher to crush 5NL, good 3bet %, great WTSD, etc. etc. you really can't complain with ~40BB/100.

Sustain it imo and youre good to go
