All hands are from Pokerstars 2NL Zoom 6-max

Any thoughts how I can improve my game?

I think I have a few leaks although winrate is decent.

Thanks!

CB Flop is high. Avoid cbetting drawy textures (i.e Q85) if you have absolutely nothing (not even a gut-shot)

Interestingly you have a high FT3B at BTN and CO, but lower number at EP and MP. This should theoretically be the opposite. You can defend more hands vs 3-bets on the BTN and CO when you have position. And you should play rather tight vs 3-bets at MP & UTG.

Probably because he's more comfortable defending hands x, y and z to a 3bet, and those hands make up a larger % of a tighter range (his EP ones) and therefore he's folding more in the later positions.

Thanks for advice

So should I call or raise more 3bets from postition? at 2nl people call or raise 4bets usually with AK, QQ+ so I can't really value bet much. Maybe I should call more like T9s, 98s, QJs, KJs? what about medium pairs? I don't fear that people will start 3bet exploiting me because most players are readless (so big player pool).

I was wondering about my AF, is 1.9 too low?
and call steal 18%, too high?

Hey guys, new player here. Forced to transit from 10NL Full Ring where I've had a nice 4bb/100 run over 100k hands to 2NL 6max, been giving it my best with extremely poor results so far.

Trying to figure out what's going wrong, any help appreciated.
I realize this is an incredibly small sample, but as this is my first real downswing I'd like to know if there's anything that seems absurd in my stats:

Since when 68% Flop cb is high? It's pretty decent imo. Most good regs are between 65 and 75%. I don't think 2nl changes it much; on one side we might get less folds, but when checked to our range is stronger than usual since villains tend to donk bet more and with a relatively strong range.

To be honest, I don't see any leaks in those stats. They're top reg stats, I'm not even kidding.

89% cbet accompanied by 31% turn cbet isn't good at all. You're just inviting everyone to float you every flop. You gotta study your equity and fold equity on some flops vs villains' range to see that you're cbetting flops where you shouldn't. Also 60% fold to cbet is high. 22% WTSD shows you're folding way too much postflop, not only vs cbets, maybe on rivers, limped pots.... who knows.

In any case, you have a small sample and don't think you're a losing player at all.

Can anyone give some insight as to how I am screwing up on the button? That should be my most profitable position and it's coming in 3rd. Let me know what other stats would be useful to post in regards to figuring out where my leaks are in that position.

You're really passive, hence the awful redline. For a range of top 18% of hands you're opening with, 55% Flop Cbet is really low. I don't know which boards you cbet and which ones you don't, but normally someone with 50-55% cbet doesn't cbet low card flops like 642 with overcards; although AK is a must cbet, QT may not be; depends on villain. Personally, I cbet 90%+ of flops with AK. I might be saying what you already do, so also make sure you cbet all of your OESD and FD almost all the time.

But the idea is simple. You have to protect your equity more by betting on spots were villain won't call worse and won't fold better. And BLUFF more.

Most likely variance. Just in case it's not, you could post RFI range, fold to 3bet%, 4bet range...

Raise first in = 39.91
Fold to 3-bet = 85.9
4-bet+ = 7.22

My total winrate isn't at all bad over the sample, an if it's just variance that is fine. If it isn't though getting the Button on par with MP and CO would be a pretty notable boost to that winrate.

Hello everyone,

I have ~22k hands at 2nlz on pokerstars. I think I am running hot (but I am winning at least) - can you guys take a look and see if anything is ridiculous stats wise? I am planning to take a shot at 5nlz soon (almost up to 100$ bankroll) and want anything major plugged before variance comes in and drags me back to earth.

I also have a C-bet question. I C-bet almost anything I raise when HU vs a Villain who has a fold to C-bet above about 65-70% (so 2/3rds pot is easily profitable with nothing else factored in). Should I be doing this, or sticking to standard ~70% (so less betting with air or weak draws?) This probably adds 10 or 15% to my C-bet percentage due to people at 2nlz folding the flop so much.

I attached everything I could think of. Thanks to anyone willing to take a look!

That's an extremely high fold to 3bet%, specially with RFI at 40 which is a bit lower than average.

Max it's clear that you have a big edge postflop, you're leaving money on the tables by being so tight. If you want to increase your winrate, loosen your VPIP/PFR/3b closer to 22/18/7. If you're really good postflop, open them up even more. Your CBet is also too high to be optimal, there are definitely spots where you're throwing away money so think about that. Anything over 75% Cbet is probably a leak.

Thanks NeA!

If I was to add more hands to my VPIP/PFR ranges, should I focus more on medium SC like 89s-JTs, maybe gappers (J9s-QTs) and the suited broadways (QJs, K10s+, A10s+)? Right now I usually throw away A10, K10 and some KJ, QJ, especially offsuit or in early/middle position.

I raise most pairs first in (except for 22-55 in EP and 22-33 in MP) as it is.

For 3-Bets, usually I stick to JJ+ and AQ+ - add in TT and maybe KQ? AJs? I don't 3B light yet - is it worth it at these stakes?

Thanks again,

Max

After a 2 year break I got back to poker. I'll be glad to hear any leaks from the stats below. Unfortunately only 12k hands of 2NL zoom 6max so far. I'll be playing 5NL next month. Cheers, Smetiar

Hi guys! Been struggling on 10nl fastforward poker.

I need someone to spot the leaks between these two stats and explain to me few things that I will ask down below.

The number '1.)' stats are from me trying to play more exploitative and the number '2.)' stats are from me playing just standard lines like a robot.

My questions (despite the volume):

a) By playing exploitative my 3bet has gone up very very much, because I would raise any 2 cards if the spot seemed good enough to take down the pot right there preflop. However, I'm losing money despite my 3bet success being much better (I think, I hope someone could give me instruction in how to filter out in PT4 preflop 3b/4b success).

Does 3 betting success necessarily mean more money won? Because it seems that I've made more money previously by just calling pre and winning pot postflop, with hands that I would exploitatively now 3bet.

If flop goes check-check, I do bluff the turn and river in 90% of time (however, I yet again don't know how to filter out hands where flop goes check-check in SRP, and I bet the turn and river).

b) Also these questions I've already posted on PT4 forum - https://www.pokertracker.com/forums/...p?f=61&t=92205

c) Is playing exploitative in micros even worth it? I did bluff A LOT more in spots I think were really good in 3b/4b pots and got called by some very very loose hands vs regs, that I don't think should be there in the first place.

So this just goes back to the question, should we even bluff at micros? I've seen all kinds of loose calls in 3b pots vs regs that I don't know how they even called me, because I represented set or 2p+ in spots when I 3 barrel, and they call me off with only TP.

d) Leaks in my stats, when you compare them? Wtf did I do so right when I played straight forward non-exploitive poker?
