Every other program on my computer work, which is very confusing, only stars doesn't work? Maybe some update don't want to load or something.

I have email pokerstars with my logs, seem like update fail yesterday and today.

PokerStars.log.0
PokerStars.log.1
PokerStarsUpdate.log.0
PokerStarsUpdate.log.1
PokerStarsUpdateE.log.0
PokerstarsUpdateE.log.1

E = Error? It's from yesterday and today.

I should have know better... bragging and telling regs that they suck, it's karma for sure.

Regards to the botting-topic:

I mean, maybe some ppl here feel annoyed that tim stone is so persistent regards to this topic in this thread or they think he is over the top,
but fundamentally he is imo pretty spot on and all his arguments are very true and make sense - same goes for ponty...

I mean, lol this happened today on one of my table (screenshot from a chat)

http://imgur.com/YizCcKe

Now you have to know that Mr. richard here was a 63/13 funplayer who has accused a Regular from eastern europe of being a bot.
My attempts to chill him down, did fail and it ended like this:

richardtran123a: they play like robot %#&&ttttttttttttt
richardtran123a: see , dont reply me
richardtran123a: fukinnnn robot

edit:
just to prevent that a ******ed troll should ask:

I post it here and not in the frp-reg-thread because
- here is more traffic
- it is an issue for all pokerplayers, no matter where you play
- stars will merge anyways soon with ftp...

then sit out for about 8 seconds and the quit...

I mean, seriously when we are so far that the average funplayer (it is not a one case-=thing here) get the knowledge that bots are infiltrating his entertainment-areas (might be now a big shocking surprise for some nerdz here, but the common average dude Mr Joe prefers to play and battle around with other real humans instead of with machines), then that is really another bad sign - its simple like that...

Hello there everyone, I've been playing now on stars for 2months. Have not seen many guys I would say are def a bot but have obv some suspicions also when I read here all the claims and after talking privately to a guy who works in security for a poker company I'm pretty sure we have some bots playing and ofc already 1 bot is a huge problem.
In regards fighting them imo the best way would be to go to the media, then it's maybe not enough they ban some accounts but have to fight vs the problem more. what's in my mind 100% sure is that all the work should be private, whoever is investigating it make it in private group.

There are far more bots on ipoker, z100 on stars has some bot (but can probably count on 1 or 2 hands) but on ipoker sometime it feel like half the reg are bot. I play on ipoker most of 2015 and it was insane how many bots there we're. On stars i've been playing z100 since november 2015 and there maybe 7-8 player I have suspicion on, on ipoker like 60 player.

Sry for that, english obv not first language and sometimes the point doesnt come over right obv. I mean the investigation has to be private. Kinda like Spotlight 2 the PokerStars edition

Yeah, just because you post on a forum doesn't mean that you're not a bot though.

We're onto you, mr robot

Once I had access to Russian PTR, I took a screenshot of top z100 winners. What strikes the most 3 of the top 5 were botters (all 5bb+). Obv there were/are many others suspicious accounts with winrates 5bb+ (some blocked, some prob still playing) that still haven't reached $21,6k mark to get to top 15.

When someone tells you they're not a bot, you have even more reason to be suspicious. Exactly what a bot would say.

I fear that could potentially land online poker in the middle of a **** storm with the likes of the UKGC if it picked up enough attention (something you presumably would want for going to the media in the first place).
Last thing we want is more Governments striving to further regulate, tax or completely prohibit online poker. Don't think it's in our best interest to be hanging our dirty laundry in public unfortunately.

Why on earth would you want to make this public? I think it would help a lot if players would make more of an effort with rec players in chat.

usually recs say "CYKA" or some other "compliment" in russian to me. In stars atleast if recs want a friendly conversation then usually some reg will chat with them as far as i have seen. I have never seen entire table sit in silence if rec asks something. But most recs just tilt after they have gone busto and other than apologizing to get them to reload there is nothing much regs can do. If a reg taunts/insults me in the chat i'll say nothing and maybe slowroll them later if i manage to note that.

thats ok then of course.

But it is not about if youre a bot or not... my post was just to show that funplayers today get more and more knowledge bout whats going on and dislike it heavily..

that is why handling things in private and hopefully with Stars' involvement is better.
If we panic in the forums and say absurd things like 50% of the player pool are bots then we contribute to the rec's negative opinion about online poker.

P.S: recs complaining that someone is a bot is smth I've seen way before this. Hopefully it's not related to the newest scandals

agreed^^
but the dilemma is here that i dunno if without an increasment in pressure anything would ever change.

But still, agreed mostly.

That is true, but frequency seems to go up here + I anticipate that it will even increase farther..

anyone else noticed that some regs purposely take the seat to the right of fish? i noticed addalex doing it first, he was definitely using a script but would, more often than not, take the seat to the direct right of the fish even if there were others available. This has happened enough times for it not to be by accident too.

Then today when it was me, 2[reac] and a fish at a table. it went fish > 2[reac] > me and then 3 empty seats, 2[reac] left and re-joined to the direct right of the fish.

Friend of mine said that kalben and analog used to do this (who are, most likely, now banned)

exactly which is why it's suspicious these guys are purposely picking the direct right, I don't know why anyone would do it which is why I thought I'd mention it in here
