I do both with AJo in this spot but I agree that 3betting is probably better all the time in these games.

Why are you sizing up on the river? My sizing definitely went smaller as I was less sure of whether I should be betting or not.

meh he will call/raise QQ+/flushes/boats, idk if he has to call with enough Jx to make it a vbet but I think not.

It's 5nlz he called with KK and I was not surprised and tbf I'm the only dip**** in the pool who ever has worse than a flush here. I'm thinking x/f on the river is the best line because we never get bluffed off better. I guarantee villains don't have a bluffing range here and are never value betting worse (if I check here villain checks back KK basically all the time).

I guess we just didn’t have enough hands on this nit to identify. Some of the stuff these people nitroll and x back with blows my mind. You’re right about the river bluffing range of 5nlz and 10nlz being a big fat 0, I’m making a point of just paying absolutely nothing off and playing 0 pots with these people

As played BTN can have any two cards. His range is too wide.

Yea kind of. Obv AJo is way ahead of a typical button range.
I believe that the main reason is, if you always 3bet AJo+, the BTN can start overbetting turns and rivers on A high boards and make your life miserable.

If opponents in real games arent putting pressure on you like this, it probably is fine to always 3 bet.

Thats my interpretation of it anyways.
