Those are the last 4 pairs of sneaks I bought. I usually try to get a new pair every month or so.

Kinda sad about this one since Crockett and Jones has an option I like a ton better for slightly more.

Some flip flops, some cap toes, Adistars, some kinda ugly brown shoes I wear when the weather is ****ty, brown boots, Nike Free 3.0s... Pretty much everything I put on my feet or the newer versions (Nike Free replace some New Balances that are getting trashed when I get the drive to put them in the trash can).

Basically normal shoes that people wear who want to look good and wear with many things. Std ****.

Probably 3/4ths of my dress clothes is still in the US chilling. The biggest difference between what I would wear and what someone else would wear would essentially be the fit. But I'm built like a grown man instead of a beer gutted 20 year old, so I have to take my clothes to the tailor to get a decent fit.

what were the 60's like?

Umm... Those shoes are universally recognized as awesome. You might find some slightly quibbling over buckle color, particular shade, and shape due to personal foot size, but lol @ not liking those.

Would I wear them to a frat party? No. Would I wear some sort of chukkas, boat shoes, a zillion other brown options of leather shoes? Obv.

I always thought old school nikes were for hipsters and the occasional bro frat boy. Weird that they're so popular in here.

I like these.

was not aware that grown man was now synonymous with house cat. duly noted.

edit: GG ur a donk, those type of shoes are basically the nuts despite their relative lack of versatility.

Nike Free's are the ****. I wear them to work (perfect for you med/dental students who want something comfortable for long days btw) and they don't look awful with denim as well.

I'm not really feeling the buckle but everything else looks good. Every guy should at least try boots/shoes that are a level above sneakers imo. I just bought a pair of these:

brogues by Loake

I like the brogues/denim combination. BROWN BROWN BROWN

I don't know how people project these issues that a pair of leather shoes bring out in them. A house cat? While I may not be a large hulking gai, I'm confused as why those shoes make you a house cat.

I usually spare the brogueing since I lived in AL where I could overdress simply on shape/color/covering my toes. Now in Europe I'd probably have to wear some pointy **** with shiny silver embossing or whatever these freaks think is cool.

i'll be honest, Nike just doesnt do it any more, i mean it was cool back in 2005 LOL, but no one wears it anymore. i prefer filas and any random high tops that look nice.
09-03-2010 , 04:35 PM
filas are a poor brand, js
09-03-2010 , 04:46 PM
not really i only have one pair of thier high tops, they just feel comfortable and looks decent.
09-03-2010 , 05:40 PM
good point. it probably makes black shoe wearers feel like they have huge clown feet on. on the flip side it's a good feeling to have your shoes noticeable to people when they look good

That is why you rock older Nikes and I semi-agree that Nike has been putting out some pretty bad shoes lately outside the Air Maxes.

THAT'S STYLE BABY, GONNA WEAR IT 2 THA CLUB

Not quite sure how some of those brown shoes leave store shelves. I suggest alternatives to AF1's. I suggest looking through brands you don't know....this can be done at www.pickyourshoes.com. I've liked a lot of CLAE's options.

Nikes and Jordans? I really have just never understood the obsession many people have with these shoes. Do you never dress up?

I'm not trying to dis you or anything, I'm hardly a fashion snob nor a snazzy dresser, I really just don't understand (and I'd like to).

+1. Jordans and AF1s are played out, everyone wears them around here. Like the Clae hightops though!
