Suits macbook air users pretty well...pretentious, ugly and slow. So go for it!

So what's your story? Aren't you a high stakes MTT'r or MTT SNG'r? You moving across the border to play? Do you have anything to fall back on if it doesn't work out? Just curious.

If any of your M shirts are a bit on the longer side I might be interested. I'm 6'1" so usually go w/ large for shirts, M or L for T shirts depending upon fit. Where will you be posting all your stuff?

MBA I can see as being pretentious, but ugly and slow? New ones w/ sandy bridge processors along w/ ssd are super fast all things considered.

I'm actually thinking about getting a new laptop but might wait till the new MBP's come out or even hold off till 2012 when Intel comes out with their new 3D transistor chips.

yeah me too, I picked up an earlier version of this one around 2 years ago and its held up really well.

It was similar in looks to this one but had two straps and was a bigger version.

Uniqlo, Gap Cheap Monday, Levi's are probably your best bets. Uniqlo raw jeans are either $65 or $75 and would be my first choice. Gap sells some nice jeans (or used to at least) too, so check them out.

I played mostly midstakes MTT's but for 2011 I started mixing in more highstakes stuff. I have a full time job that pays okay, good benefits etc. but I've always wanted to travel, I'm not excited about going to work, there may not be a lot of advancement in my position and I don't plan on getting married or having children for a long time so the incentive to stay at my job for the sake of security just isn't there. Cabo is the best opportunity I have to do what I want to do while I'm young. If it works out I'll move from Cabo to somewhere else in the world for a while, and if it doesn't work I'll go home and work for the family business or possibly get my old job back. It's definitely a calculated risk and I've already made peace with the fact that it might not go as planned.

I'll be posting my stuff here and on Styleforum. I'll get the you measurements of anything you may be interested in.

Sure, working on taking pics now, hope to have some up this evening.

White jacket doesn't fit the model well but w/e it can be tailored. Chinos look fine and the second jacket looks good imo

CBorders, I know you posted about raw denim, but I just have a few questions. I'm looking to get a pair or two. I have a small waist (29"), so what companies sell that small? What are your top picks for raw denim?
08-21-2011 , 06:30 PM
grey > white blazer. and the pants fit horribly imo

Pretty much all brands sell a size that will fit you. What kind of fit are you looking for? IE skinny, slim, straight, tapered, relaxed, high rise, low rise, whatever.

They are too long for the model, but I think the actual fit/taper is fine.

Dunno tbh. No high rise or skinny.

APC New Standard, Naked & Famous Weird Guy, Levi's 501STF, 3Sixteen SL100X, any of those would be solid choices with the SL100x's being the better of the four but most expensive ($200). None of them are too slim or baggy, and you can size up or down depending on how tight you want them to be.

to be fair, almost any bag u posted would've gotten that jpg from me. i think backpacks are much more masculine and better looking. but that red cross thing is objectively dreadful.
