And regarding skin tone and colors, that is also not a radical, made-up concept. Henry clearly expressed the importance of choosing correct colors for your skin tone and others such as GCG and Custer have also pointed out that they couldn't wear certain colors. Picture a black man trying to wear an orange shirt. It'd be pretty damn difficult to find a shade that actually works well.
As disko has pointed out, people have different styles. Just because I can't wear something you can wear doesn't make me wrong or out of style.
