I completely believe you that it's a fashion trend right now. But I'm not a slave to fashion trends-if I know it's gonna look stupid in a couple years I stay away.

Fit looks good. Like the color of the pants. Don't think the two colors are that great together. Clashing.
11-14-2015 , 07:47 PM
Agree. Like both items independently, not sure if I like them together

I have 0 need for them but almost grabbed those pale grape.

Pale grape was the only pair I got. I don't own any of their pants so hoping the sizing is right.

Those are bad. Go for Wolverine 1000 mile boots, Oak Street Bootmaker or Red Wing. If you want to go crazy get some Alden's.

GL on the sizing. There pants are great, but so is everything they make. I think they are the literal only place I have bought clothes from in the last 6 months and over 90% of the clothes I've bought in the last year.

I have a big ass and legs compared to my waist size. Partially genetic and I also do heavy squats/deadlifts. Most nice regular fitting pants seem tight/skinny on me. I'm thinking about doing trunk club for men; maybe the stylist will have ideas for brands that fit me better.

Not a fan. Inyaface had good suggestions. I don't own them but I think the 1000 Miles are perfect boots for younger, casual wardrobes. What's your budget?

Yeah, epaulet really is awesome. Pretty much the only place I trust besides Luxire. Not counting boxers and stuff, my wardrobe is probably 70% Luxire, 20% epaulet and 10% other.

I don't know your budget but epaulet's Rudy pants are made specifically for guys like you (bit thighs). Might check them out.

Thanks for the good suggestions. Didn't want to spend that much on boots but I guess they will last me for a long time right?

What about these?

I like these the best, should I get em?

I don't have experience with oak street but I've heard good things.

+1 to 1000 miles and red wings. If price is a big concern I bet somewhere will have them for cheaper (High 100s to low 200s) for Black Friday or cyber Monday. Follow r/frugalmalefashion subreddit for those kinds of deals.

I already have long branches and 1000's, but now I want these

The Meermin sherpa lined boots I posted a few pages back are amazing. Easily my favorite boot I own

Style don't like the general style you are looking at. Something like

http://oakstreetbootmakers.com/footw...al-trench-boot

is what I would be going for.

Meermin's that Custer posted above are another example but those might be a bit to dressy for College.
11-20-2015 , 06:44 PM
^^ Agree. In general I don't like moc toe anything (besides boat shoes I guess).
11-21-2015 , 01:09 PM
So I guess I'm either gunna go with

these

http://oakstreetbootmakers.com/footw...sole-camp-boot

or these that InYaFace recommended

http://oakstreetbootmakers.com/footw...al-trench-boot

You won't regret it. Those will last you forever and look better then what 99% of kids are wearing to class. Make sure to grab some shoe trees. Don't need anything fancy, can buy a pair for $20. Just make sure they fit well enough to keep the shape and don't stretch the boot out. Also get some sort of leather care product. Don't need to use it very often at all but if you are going to get a really nice pair of boots you want them to last.

Something like
http://www.uniqlo.com/us/product/men...rts/classsic/~

is fine for sweatshirts. Epaulet used to have similar ones but stopped selling them.
