The majority of their shirts are either no pocket or single pocket. Rarely (relatively) will you find a two pocket shirt. And yes, there is a reason why there are far higher number of single/no pocket shirts to two pocket shirts. It's not random.
So because something is more popular its better? Not disagreeing with the one pocket>others, cause I agree with that but your reasoning seems ******ed

In the sense yes, if something is more popular it is likely better--it's not like people are being forced to purchase something they become popular because people see what they like--, although this is not always the case with many different products. If two pockets were much more fashionable and better looking and a single pocket wouldn't people purchase those much more? Then wouldn't companies see that and make their product line contain significantly more of that type of product? From what I can see at the stores/online the shirt industry is still predominantly single or no pocket.

Anyway, I'm done with the topic...I have my opinion on this, you guys have yours, and if you think two pockets look fantastic then more power to you. I think your own wardrobe will speak for itself.

I work with someone who is openly homosexual and basically his wardrobe consists of two pocket button up shirts and really other feminine clothing. I will say though that the color combos can get interesting. Great sample size, I know . But hey, at least they keep the dual pocket shirts alive!

What about mens accessories? What do you guys use if any?

Necklaces? Wristbands? Wristwatches? Earrings?

Personally I try to keep it at a very minimum. 95% of the days I'm not using anything. 5% of the time I'm using a wristband cause I just got out of the hospital from alcohol poisoning. Thinking about getting some wristbands and possibly some really simple necklace....not sure if want though.

nothing, most look douchey

Wristwatches +1

I'd agree with dkgojackets though...most do look douchey, even some wristwatches. Earrings is probably the worst of them though.

Skunkworks has made the best post ITT on shirt pockets. There are certain styles that have dual pockets as a staple feature. There is definitely nothing gay about them. I really disagree with solseks thoughts but to each their own.

prob get the most compliments on a thick leather cuff watch i have.

maybe england is diff assuming thats where you are from but a necklace is just terrible. im sure ones exist that look good but ive never seen them. better to just not risk it imo

have both my ears 16 gauged, also go with simple diamond studs now and then. earrings are A+ good if you can pull them off. if you cant, then its such a huge huge huge blunder.

i don't wear anything. never was into earrings and i haven't found a watch that looks good on my wrist.

once i get my my iphone back i'll take a pic of me wearing a shirt with 2 pockets.

Would you mind taking a picture of it? I'm having trouble making sense of what a "thick leather cuff" watch would look like. Although I will google it after this to get a better idea. I want to see what it looks like on you though. What price range do these run? Maybe I can get both wristband and watch done in one accessory.

Re: necklace

Why is a necklace terrible? A simple silver chain doesn't seem too vulgar or distracting. I dunno.

my camera is MIA right now but its basically something like this

but its a square face and Diesel brand. ill search through my fb later to see if i have any pictures with it.

Two pockets is gay and the trademark of a hipster.

The only two places acceptable to ever wear one of those shirts with two pockets is fly fishing or on an African safari.

No accessories except for a clean, subtle watch.

I see, so something like $50-100 for it? What do people say when they mention it? The band/watch or something else? I'm interested because I do not find them very common and I am not sure if I am sold on the idea yet.

manutd a silver necklace is definitely gay unless you're black you must like the d

I was thinking this watch would be pretty nice to get.

Only costs 12.
09-12-2010 , 11:34 PM
yeah diesel is a little pricey but you can prob get some stuff cheaper off ebay. mine was ~100 iirc. dont really remember anything specific about what compliments ive gotten but just stuff like "wow i really like your watch what kind is it" has been used a lot and probably is responsible for 1/3rd of the times a girl has opened me instead of vice versa. the uniqueness is good. just make sure you dont get one with a black band instead of brown or you will look emo/goth/etc

I was about to rage, then CBorders validated me and now all is calm on the inside.

Would you take the advise of someone who just learned what an"oxford shirt is? Yes? Oh well, then keep pairing those jordans with some sick true religion jeans and an american eagle striped shirt.

FWIW, his posts are are his opinion and he is entitled to that, but by looking at posts thus far it is clear he doesn't have a strong fashion sense as to what looks good or doesn't look good.
lol youre right. makes perfect sense now.

Looking at those watches just gave me cancer.

For real though, if you're going to post up bro watches, at least put up some Nixons or some other trendy garbage.

If you're interested in awesome watches, I like IWC, Omega Speedmasters/Seamasters, and Sinn. More affordable watches I like are Mk II, Stowa, and hell you can even find some decent automatic Seikos for very cheap.
