FWIW just because something retails at boutiques for X amount doesn't mean that's how much you have to pay for it. You can find just about anything for 1/3-1/2 of retail if you're smart.

If you can't fit into off the rack clothing (most athletic builds can't), get friendly with a tailor. It should be around $20 for him to narrow sleeves, increase the drop (what I typically need done). Shop for different polo shirts as you may find something that fits well in a particular brand and not need tailoring. Coats/sweaters/etc = bleh bleh bleh. Spurious's comments are spot on. I ended up buying raw denim purely out of rage at off the rack fits.

that $180 sweater was fine. Right at the top of the range in terms of cost for almost all of us ( except for the euros itt ldo). But if it gets to be GQ magazine where the jackets on display are 4grand then we have a problem.

Anybody want to recommend a blazer under $300 or what kind of outfit would go nice with a blazer.

180$ sweater and 180$ hoodie are tow different things

I reeeally don't get the whole keeping-the-shoebox thing people seem to do... someone explain it?!

I'm looking for long sleeve tees to use as undershirts for the fall, but I haven't really found much. I prefer layering that way as opposed to wearing a hoodie. I found a bunch of polos branded shirts I liked last fall, but haven't had any luck this season. Anyone have any ideas/brands I could look at? Generally looking for collarless as finding collared shirts is easy.

Good thing I came across this thread. I realized I've been wearing this old ****ty hoodie all this time. I used to think it was okay because it kept me warm and it fit me, but now I see what a ****ing life fish I was. **** on the inside wasn't even made of terry cloth!

What a ****ing ugly sweatshirt, huh? No wonder girls never came and hit on me when I was wearing it.

Luckily, I was able to find the one that CBorders posted, it is sooo sick. It was a bit pricey - I was thinking maybe instead I should use the money to buy groceries for the next 3 weeks, or take a round trip flight to NYC, maybe even feed 18 starving African families for a month. But, then I thought, **** it. I can't be seen walking around like a little bitch in that old raggedy thing. **** groceries, **** New York, and **** Africa. Got me a new hoodie yo! Problem is, now I gotta get something to protect myself from all the women that will attack me when they see how soft and form-fitting my clothes are. I'm gonna be totally irresistible, so I may have to be selective about when I choose to wear it.

Jesus, will everyone stop hating?

Anyway, I just got this Old Navy hoodie ($25) last week in black and like it a lot so far:

****ty picture quality, but it's lightweight and soft, I like the look, can't ask for much more.

(not as much as I my new Sharks shirt tho!)

lol wtf? who gives a **** how much i spent on a hoodie, seriously? You act as though I bought it as some status symbol or something; its not like i bought a pair of gucci sneakers with some big ass logos on them

edit: goofybally i bet your hoodie isnt organic cotton or hand made. i bet it isnt even lined with terry cloth. did you see mine? IT RETAILS FOR $180 AND I GET INFINITE PUSSY BECAUSE OF THAT!!1

This thread isn't going anywhere, there's obviously interest in discussing clothing given that it took over fly honeyz, you guys just need to learn to talk about style without being douches every time you disagree with someone else.

Nothing wrong with them...just pretty cool you have a pair in good condition. I wish I still had mine but they would be about 6-7 sizes too small and beat to **** right now if they hadn't been thrown away.

I have that grey polo hoody. **** bothers me cause it seems to short whereas the sleeves are way to long.

Griffeys- http://www.lacelocked.com/products/354912-101

I assume I keep boxes to put the shoes in them if I'd move....it probably makes it easier to store for people with collections.

I don't think the issue here is price, the issue is that people think that it is not worth the money and I agree with this, because that hoodie looks nothing special and like something you could get cheaply, but maybe picture does shame to it. I think it would be best not to post prices, so that people would focus on looks instead.

It's the same as it is with cashmere sweaters, they look like a 10$ sweater on pictures, but there are obviously differences.

I can't believe I am seriously going to ask this....

but is not having a hoodie a massive leak in my game?
