$180, but if you shop around you can get it for half that.

The materials are much different from a Hanes hoodie, it's made by hand in Canada, the zipper is damn near bulletproof. I don't really care about any of this since I don't buy in to the theory that clothes magically fall apart after a year of washing and wear, I bought it because it fits perfectly and the hood actually covers my massive melon head. Plus its terry cloth on the inside, I can wear it around the house without a shirt and it feels like a robe!

I don't know who decided that clothes that fit = "hipster" but they are sadly mistaken and its unfortunate that proper fit is somehow synonymous with a word that doesn't have an actual meaning.

I el mao at lots of the "fitted" stuff that is sold on styleforum and touted as a "great fit" as if everyone was build like a 14 year old girl.

Regardless, fit is specific to the person. Like me and the azn guy could wear exactly nothing in common sans mebbe socks. Since he weighs less than a house cat, and I'm merely a petite man.

Probably not but if I like it does it really matter if I spent $10 or $1000 on something?

I was unaware that projections of poverty was only allowed by students. Perhaps this should be SL "Style" Thread - Unless we think you spent too much money - but pictures of $4000 of ghetto shoes are cool

Explanation doesn't make your earlier post any less douchey imo.

Pleasepleaseplease change thread title to "ITT CBorders spends too much to look like a hipster" at least for a day

When I read that that hoodie cost $180, my jaw literally dropped.

I have issues with 'fitted' clothing as well. None of it fits my 6'2 230 pound frame. Large doesn't fit my shoulder span and X-Large is ridiculously big.

I dont mind that you spent that much on it. If you can afford it, it's definitely worth it. But it's obvious that some people think it's too much, because they cant afford it.

That's the problem, losing weight doesn't reduce my wide shoulder span.

Dunno how much money you got, but have you looked into custom fit clothing?

There are many things that I can afford that I choose not to buy because they cost too much.

Yea, I do go this route for formal clothing. The big issue is casual wear.

Depending on what you see as casual wear, but button down shirts, polos, chinos are all available as custom fit products.

T-shirts and jeans are a pain in the ass to shop for. You should take at least a day to look around and try on as many pieces as possible and see which fit you the best.
