Like the bordeaux.
I really like the black one as well because of the contrast but the occasions you can wear it to are limited. A brogued black shoe is really an odd day office shoe.

Oh, I didn't know actually.

If you can select it, you can probably ship it there.

Thinking about copping these from the Ralph Lauren pre-sale:

http://www.ralphlauren.com/product/i...uctId=46877336

Comes out to like 81$. The 'black' looks dark brown, but I assume they will actually come black. The dark brown is a tad lighter than what I wanted but should still be fine

edit: picked up those in dark brown, a glen plaid wool scarf, and 5 pairs of nice wool socks. ~188 after tax, not too bad

Any tips for tall and slim people? I'm 6'4'' 180, my fitted shirt size is 15.5/36.

I've slowly been redoing my wardrobe over the last year, after wearing xl stuff forever. It's just hard to find something that is a medium size with xl sleeve lengths.

I've been getting alot of banana republic Medium Tall stuff, but maybe their are some other stuff that works?

Any appreciable difference between the classic and premium collection?

Custer and I are very close to your size. I gave up on most OTR clothing and now buy most of my wardrobe from Luxire. They're as close as you can get to online bespoke. It is a lot more work to figure out your sizing but once you get it down it's worth the effort IMO and isn't much more expensive.

If you don't like the idea of MTM, Bonobos is great for pants. I never found an OTR dress shirt that fit me well so no suggestion there. If you're talking more casual stuff, I really like J. Crew. Almost all my tees are from them + a couple sweaters.

Fwiw I'm 6'4 215 right now and still have visible abs. Got heavy legs and I think just in general dense. I still have some lower belly fat I need to he rid of.

I have the torso and les of someone like 6'2/6'3, got a big ol head.

Just measure yourself at the vital points and shop around at sites that have good fit guides

lol at visible abs in bulking season. Actually, I have "visible abs" and I'm fat as **** right now. I don't get how people allow themselves to actually get fat.

Last edited by GusJohnsonGOAT; 10-25-2014 at 03:06 AM. Reason: Ain't the ****ing truth the first fat I get is lower belly fat. Can't I just wear my size 29" waist all winter?

Yes, definitely.
The classic collection is Allen Edmonds level, the Premium is definitely a notch above, it's imo comparable to Carmina.

Not bulking, just out of shape from grad school, getting back in shape.

Not a fan of the first outfit. A lot of just has to do with that I'm not a fan of that shade of blue. Needs to be darker or lighter. Not really a fan of the tie either. That second outfit looks like it could be solid.
10-28-2014 , 05:47 AM
I think it's the same outfit with an overcoat? Tie is definitely off.
10-28-2014 , 07:38 AM
Not a fan of the tie unless it's July 4th. Rest looks good, really like the coat texture (assume that's the suit supply one?).
10-28-2014 , 08:55 AM
Jab,

Two different outfits. Coat was just over that blue hurt and tan pants with dark brown belt/shoes.

Scrolls,

I like the tie. It's a lot less patriotic irl with some black lines and the white color being more cream.

I was concerned the tie with sweater is too much. One of the reasons I posted it. When I first out it on I thought it was fine but it was also my order experience with the tie+sweater combo. Lookin back it's meh to me(this combo not the tie+sweater combo).

Ya it's the suit supply coat. I love it. My biggest complaint is it has the sleeve lining common to jackets/suits which may jut be standard ok nice coats. It's a contrast white lining with I am not a fan of.

Edit: what I meant to say was every day is like 4th of July in the land of the free you god damn commie
