I like Flip-Flops
09-02-2010 , 11:38 AM
Oh god, that deserves another post. Those quasi-boat shoes are BADDDDDD. Why the **** do you need/want that much tread on shoes with that little support?

I'm not surprised that your style =/= my style, but I don't ever see myself rockin boat shoes. I dress somewhat preppy, but those shoes only go with khaki shorts + no socks. If that's the case, I would rather wear the polo flip flops i posted earlier on this page.

lol wat?

Those are easily the best shoes in the world AINEC!

Wear them for two weeks and you wont ever buy other shoes!

those things look awful

Are those shoes not popular in the states? They are probably the most sold Timberland shoes in Germany.
09-02-2010 , 12:02 PM
It looks like someone attached a boat shoe to the sole of a boot. Not a great look, unless you want to be able to go mountain climbing in your boat shoes - then you've got the best shoe for the job.

A version of that shoe is popular in the States, but it doesn't have nearly as thick of a sole.

I don't like the American version either fwiw

Not that it's a bad thing, but you will be INSTA-spotted as a Euro if you wore those.

Obviously a good thing! Goes without saying.
I will probably be spotted as a Euro-guy rather quick with my style.

the sole on those tims is hideous. just get sperrys if that is your style.
09-02-2010 , 12:24 PM
idk if you mean "you" as in me specifically or every normal 18-25 yr old
09-02-2010 , 12:25 PM
I meant any 18-25, but "both" is also acceptable I guess.

What are regular shoes, until a few months ago, I had some sneakers, but I think leather shoes are a lot more comfortable.

I dont get what everyone has with the soles, they arent higher than usual leather shoes.

09-02-2010 , 12:56 PM
They are basically work-shoes, judging by the sole ONLY. Way too much tread lol

Just popping in to say that wearing hats with flat bills is possibly the worst development in fashion in my lifetime

I stopped wearing Nike and Adidas a few years ago, I only wear them to workout and do sports and whatever activity involving sweat.

Sneakers like that are acceptable.
