Ok guys, I need your help.

I'm having trouble choosing a study. The famous advise from parents and counselors “finding your passion, do what you like” is vague to me.
I don’t know what I like anymore. I doubt the fact that people can like or hate something. It sounds like a part of “the self” to me.

I have not many things that I really am identified with. It was mathematics, economics or psychics in the past. Psychology and philosophy more recently. I would like to know more about all subjects. I feel like I am not “a little me” anymore, not much identification with a course or subject.
It is a problem with identification as a whole, after reading Eckhart Tolle.
I’ve to decide in 1 or 2 weeks.

I would really like to study though. I’ve a couple of reasons for it. I want to develop myself, collect wisdom, knowledge and logic, the experience of college itself and of course a bigger certainty for the future.
Money is no problem. I live namely in the Netherlands
I hope that you guys could push me in the right direction.

P.S. I’ve been lurking for a long time on this forum. English isn’t my native language, so I hope that my writing is understandable.
P.P.S. I studies Econometrics in the past year. Mainly for the money, it's a studie with lots of mathematics and a little bit economics.

Not sure why this is in RGT? It's not at all uncommon for a college student to be undecided about studies and the future. It might help to say what year you're in and how old you are. Also, how far you've gotten towards any specific degrees, etc.

Unless you're really interested in these subjects, I'd stay away from Psychology and philosophy. Psychology from what I understand (at least here in the states) is a pretty saturated subject. Philosophy? Unless you plan on becoming a professor, there's little value, money, or future in this major. That's not to say the subject is unimportant. It can be a great supplement to another degree. But it's something I'd rather minor in.

Sounds like you're more math/science orientated anyway. I'd stick with your strengths. I also think these subjects give you more options. In the end, no one can decide for you. Maybe talk to people who are already working in these fields to get a better idea/feel for what you'd like. gl.

Why don't you take a personality test? It's not going to be necessarily absolutely right but it's a starting point.

It will narrow down the range of possible career paths by indicating those that suit you the most.

Of course, I'd pray to God on it as well....to remove the chance of making any random errors.

You can also consult a guidance counselor. These types of decisions are something they specialize in.
