Oh yeah, because games like the Chiefs and Chargers are awesome to watch.

Pretty sure fantasy sports might not be for you LKJ
11-07-2012 , 01:16 PM
Actually they are specifically for my kind and not for everybody else. Everybody else can't handle them properly.

Keep clinging to that raft.

This argument is so lolzy.

Fantasy football I awesome when you're in money league with friends and family. The sweat is a key part of it. Also it makes me food pretty much every game on the schedule every weekend which makes me a more knowledgeable fan imo

Just don't be that guy at the bar and you're golden like Tate

lkj it sounds like you are trying to avoid having fun at all costs. instead of caring about 1 game a week i now have reason to care about all of them

Does it?

You two enjoy your stranded island.

The population of the island appears to be growing!

In any case, the holding of high, lofty and correct principles doesn't always allow one to be in the majority.

You completely ignored my NBA claim, so I'll take it to be as truth.

That's my point. You can be a casual fan of the NBA, and in this case, only care about your fantasy players, but if it is the NFL, apparently that is forbidden. Obviously, LKJ's logic is flawed.

My earlier post reflects my feelings on the subject, but unless I'm mistaken LKJ would have no issue with someone playing fantasy football and not watching a minute of the NFL

you just arent allowed to root for your fantasy players

I'm glad we understand each other.

I hope Jimmy Graham scores 14 touchdowns on Sunday against the Falcons.

I also want the Falcons to win by heaps.
11-09-2012 , 11:59 AM
If that thought ever enters your mind during the game, that you want your team to get scored on, then you have no moral fiber.

I know, as a future lawyer, you're used to clinging to your argument regardless of its validity, but let me take this one game and illustrate my point:

Scenario 1: Falcons win, my fantasy players (I have 2 Saints and 2 Falcons on my team fwiw) do well.
-- Vintage happiness level: 10/10
Scenario 2: Falcons win, my fantasy players don't do well
-- Vintage happiness level: 8.75/10
Scenario 3: Falcons lose, my fantasy players do well
-- Vintage happiness level: 3/10
Scenario 4: Falcons lose, my fantasy players suck
-- Vintage happiness level: Find a bridge somewhere

TBH I'm not really sure what your problem is. Do you not understand how someone can enjoy a game like this? Or do you simply not agree with it? Both?
