What's funny about this is someone on a gambling website is being super results oriented about why an athlete is greater than some other athletes.

The best part is Karak saying how he defended Eli early on and now he is saying "See, I told you!" thanks to Super Bowl variance in his favor.

Eli is no better off than someone like Romo if he didn't win a Super Bowl.

All that thread proves is that Romo misses one pass that helps the Giants win the SB. All you are doing is proving that Eli needed a lot of luck this season to help win the SB. It's proving lolvariance even more.

Eli doesn't have any SB rings if:

1. Tyree doesn't make his helmet catch.
2. Romo completes that pass to Miles Austin.
3. Welker catches Brady's pass.


Measuring greatness by Super Bowl rings is awful. This isn't the NBA where a great player can dominate and win numerous titles. There is way too much variance to use SBs as a way to measure greatness. He just doesn't have the numbers as of now to prove he is an elite QB (Peyton, Brady, Marino, etc.)

Brady also has had some luck to win his SBs, but at least he has excellent numbers and has led teams with average players to greatness.

murray wasnt even in the top 60 of kenpom and clearly not as good as thier team 2 years ago. they are out if they dont win their conference
