Re: SL "Ask a Bitter Old Man" Thread

I guess the disposition of that situation is simply that when that lease ran out, I told the other roommate that I would renew with him only under the condition that the other guy was out. That roommate quietly made him disappear. I didn't question how he did it, I just smiled happily at my newfound freedom.

Any suggestions?
For the people who messaged me about the bed tent, i really don't know how to post pictures so you'll have to google it or look for it at privacy pop's website. Hope this helps!

And nicely done on getting rid of that roommate LKJ!

Re: SL "Ask a Bitter Old Man" Thread

This was posted on my universities lost and found webpage

Quote:
I lost a pencil case in CLAS 108 about five months ago.

It would have been on the floor in the back row, against the starboard side of the projection kiosk.

It was about the size of a decently portioned hoagie. Essentially capsule shaped. Flat. Made out of grey nylon on the posterior and black mesh on the anterior.

A black zipper stretched the entire top fifty percent.

The contents included thirteen Ticonderoga pencils, Sharpened. There was an assorted mix of probably seven number 2's and six number 3's. The number 2's were further broken down between about three painted black made from 55% post consumer waste, and four yellow. The number 3's were all yellow.

There was also a corner of notebook paper, loose-leaf if you will, with a used permission number for PSYC 2400 scribbled on it.

A couple of odd capped blue or black pens.

One black Sharpie withe the clip torn off. And faded script on the side.

One Blue Pilot G-2 07 ball point pen with clicking properties.

And one black, uni-ball, Vision Elite, with a full ink cartridge.

If this can be returned to me, post-haste, I would be greatly in your debt, The whole University.

But I do not wish you to believe that I subsist ENTIRELY on the generosity of others. There shall in fact be a reward befitting the state and number of items still remaining. Also, it all depends on which items are returned to me.

The most important items to me are as follows (in ascending order):
The pencils. All of them. Each one is a fine scribing utensil and they all serve me well.
The pencil case itself. It was a very uniquely flat piece of equipment and it served me well with the limited realty I had to work with in my messenger bag.
But most of all I wish for the safe return of my Uni-Ball, Vision Elite. The One Pen, which shall be an heirloom of my kingdom. All those who follow in my bloodline shall be bound to its fate, for I will risk no hurt to the Pen. It is precious to me... though I buy it with a great pain... The markings upon the band begin to fade. The writing which at first was as clear as red flame, has all but disappeared, a secret now that only fire can tell.

Alas, I am not available at all times to receive such petty tributes as you can offer, as I am a commuter, but my hangers on can be reached if only you can find me on the f-book.

I appreciate all that you shall do to make this matter right and just.

His Imperial and Royal Majesty
