How did Geo's treat you? It probably was dead in the summer months I would imagine.

It was decent. Been trying all the local haunts on fmo's recommendation. Chicken fingers must have been crafted in the heart of a volcano considering how piping hot they were, but still good. Liked Zorba's and gonna be trying Fat Sandwhich tonight.

Overall campus is super dead (hence putting more effort into meeting up than normal itt) but I'm only here for a few more days before I jump over to Chicago for a week then back to Vegas then Atlanta before school starts.

+1 -- the first time i ordered chicken fingers there they were literally so hot they burned through the styrofoam container they came in.

try papa del's pizza and dos reales restaurant.

Just tried papa dels on ur and gobbo's recs. I still prefer ny pizza to Chicago style but it was decent nonetheless.

If youre still in town, try some of the downtown Champaign spots..Sams is a step up from Merry Anns. Its only open till 2pm I believe. Radio Maria has a good brunch, and you cant beat Esquire for bar food, a drink, and Da Bullz.

Not much new has popped up on campus, but check out Black Dog in Urbana, insanely good BBQ.ill let ya know if anything else comes to mind
