WOOOOO INTRAMURAL CHAMPS.

About 80 teams started in the Mens B league, 32 made the playoffs and we emerged victorius.

We are going to get destroyed by the A league champions tomorrow in the "Champions League" playoffs. At least we get the coverted Intramural Champions shirts!!!

There is a charity poker tournament going on tonight at the McKinley CENTER at 5th and Daniel (there is a ton of construction going on in this area). It's run by the Illini Health Association (I'm not a member but a friend is).

It's the second annual, I went last year and it was a good time. The buy-in is only $10 and you get a free t-shirt and coupons (last year we all got Free Chipotle burrito coupons and stuff for Noodles/Pizza Hut, etc.). The top 3 places win prizes, which I've heard are signed jerseys by the Illini football team.

It is at 6PM TONIGHT (Wednesday 11/7/07) at 5th and Daniel if you are interested. Just show up, about 63 people have already confirmed to the Facebook event.

FWIW the tournament is a crapshoot (last year we started with 1500 at 25/50 blinds LOL), but its more for the charity aspect and you get some free stuff out of it.

I'm not sure what the final total was, but only 40 people ended up showing.

I finished in 12th earning myself a free Qdoba burrito + my complementary t-shirt - woot.

Highlight: A guy checked while he was UTG and first to act preflop.

I have two papers due this week, a 4 page and a 15 page...they go on hold till tomorrow after tonight!

I have 2 5 pagers, a final for TAM Wednesday, and a Thermodynamics quiz Friday.

I think I have like two homework assignments and a few naps to take.

Hmmm I have 12 hours, no homework, and no classes before 2. Econ is a rough major.

I'm happy I stayed up for no reason other than to watch the 2am Sportscenter and watch more Illinois/Bears highlights. This can never get old!!!

Yes, I waited outside from 10:30pm last night until I got my ticket at around 9:30am this morning. I'm going with 8 other people in one of those big vans and we are driving to California.

Anyone else there last night? I am running on no sleep. Whole night was a blast though.
