Anyone here who has any tips for drinks/food in NY? Will be staying in Manhattan with 2 friends, going to be there for 3 days.

Looking for a place for a relaxing beer, most likely no clubbing since we have that short window to see the city, I've been there before but wasn't 21 so no experience with drinking.

For food some decent restaurants that aren't that expensive? No clue how expensive stuff should be in NY?

Will be driving from NY to Burlington, VT after if anyone would have a good sight / quick stop on the way there that would be much appreciated!

Recently became single as yall in skype chat know - for those of you that don't know me I graduated college 2.5 years ago and ever since have basically been a serial monogamist. Quickly going through relationships. I'm also known for Hallmark moments (thanks LKJ) where I guess I make 'bold moves' to woo woman. I'm a gentleman, what can I say.

So basically became single and me and my ex still talking and semi-working through things more so figuring out how to be friends, so a lot of emotional stuff going on there still but I'm getting back in the game cause why not.

Decided I wanted to set my tinder up right before new years so I did that last Wednesday. Other than that I opened my old OKC/POF and basically told a few select people that I haven't updated my profile in 2 years but they should send me their number. Legit got 3 numbers this way but only one with real potential and just texting her so far.

Tinder though - is magic. Started Tinder on Wednesday, and I live in Iowa so not a lot of population to work with. Got a bunch of matches but to start mostly chicks you'd bang, not wife up - if you know what I mean. Ended up meeting one out on new years after a house party (sausage fest). me and a bro left the party around 11:30pm met her and a few friends right before new years. I was half planning to get a kiss at new years to progress easily, but she made a deal to kiss her friend (a girl) and I got there like 2 minutes before midnight.

Closed down the bar and made tons of sexual jokes and she was super into me, knew it'd be easy to close but due to the scenario (me having a buddy with me I was responsible for, and her friend being the DD) I didn't push it that night. Ended up telling her to come Netflix and chill last night - which was my birthday. Ended up banging and getting birthday sex and just before she left birthday blowjob cause she felt bad about talking up her skills on new years and not coming through.

Now my issue being a "nice guy" or good guy whatever you want to call me, but I can tell she really likes me but I don't see a chance pursuing anything further other than maybe random hookups. Going to have to tackle that sooner rather than later.


Other than that, Tinder game is going well. A few good conversations going but in general Tinder is pretty slow response-wise I'm noticing. Have gotten #'s of a couple of what I'd consider 7s-8s (skype chat says more like 6-6.5s), so working on that. Potentially have netflix & chills lined up for both Friday and Saturday.

Hoping to continue to TR for a bit instead of wifing up right away, we'll see hombres.

Not exactly sure what you mean by "tackle" but this is a really easy freeroll for you if you want to be single. The harder part will be if you want to remain single while with a girl you really like a lot too.

Just be honest after you sleep with her again that you haven't spent a lot of time single in your life, you want to do that so you're just looking to have fun and meet/hang out with cool people. She will either be cool with it and you will get what you want or she won't and you will still get what you want since you don't want a relationship with her anyway. Like I said, the tougher part is when you feel divided between staying single and dating a girl you really like. IMO you can still do it by being honest in the same exact way, you just have to be fine with letting the girl go if she isn't OK with that at any point in time.
