I always smile as the slew of drunken posts always appear at about 7 to 8 am. I think you guys must party hard until I remember that there are time differences..

Perfect chance for karak to try a threesome imo.

i was hitting on one of my roommate's friends last night and then texted said roommate to tell her that she has to set me up. at least that's what i was trying to write. none of the 9 texts i sent were legible.

sounds like we all had goodish nights

i obv didnt do anything with BG as i planned or even try... that would be too weird.

i think i will still take her to lawl prom, but im gunna really reel in the talking or anything between now and then. i figure if my options are either that or not go... why not?

C is a girl who a lot of guys (for some reason) in the lawl school always try to get with. We jokingly call her the "law guy pied piper." It's probably because she has the arrogance and self-confidence of your standard fratboy and can lead guys on like an absolute pro.

However, C has only gotten romantically involved with one guy past the point of leading him on since we got to law school. Who else? Like my life wasn't complicated enough. We had a thing and she also revealed all these deep, dark secrets about her family life and history to me one night over too many drinks (knowing all this made her personality instantly make sense to me).

Ever since she told me all that she told me... things cooled off from both ends. What she told me scared me off a bit but at the same time made me feel really sorry for her... she picked up on that and having someone feel bad for her just wouldn't mesh with her ego... so we went our separate ways. However, it's always obvious that she's competing for my attention, and she's gone down the path of hooking up with me 2-3 times only to either a) have an emotional meltdown or b) have a psycho break and go crazy. I've kept my distance ever since.

Before BG and I ever met her last night, BG kept complaining about this girl in the crowd at the bar above who was glaring at her and making her feel uncomfortable. Obviously once we identified who she was it was C... and C was pretty mean to BG all night anytime they interacted... then there was the shoving/stiff-arm incident and it was mega lolz. Also when I was cashing out, C tried to pay for all my drinks. When the bartender told her it was too late and he had already run the card, C threw her credit card at my face. I'm not kidding.

Of course my ego was stroked by this whole scene, but in reality it was kind of sad and reflective of the very weird and crazy social dynamics of law school.

I decided I'm writing a book when I'm done with law school. It will be like OneL, except with super ****ed up social dynamics... although I guess OneL covers that pretty darn well.

Anyone want to buy it?

Interesting play there.

Update that nobody cares about: that chick I fooled around with a few months back, she broke up with her BF, and then she LJBF'd me for no obvious reason like a week later wants to be like my BESTEST FRIEND IN THE WORLD... solely through IM and texting. She avoids seeing me in person like I have the plague, but the handful of times I have seen her she has been flirty and friendly and all that.

It's really ****ing with my head.

She finds you attractive and interesting intellectually and personality wise, but physically and sexually has no interest.

That's all I can think of.

Either that or you make a fine emotional crutch.

That's my read, but it's little weird that she'd cheat on her BF with me multiple times before deciding that, though. Also it's not an emotional crutch thing, it's not like she complains about or even mentions any other guys she's messing with. My operating theory is that I was available to provoke the breakup(that she wanted to do anyway) but once she was single she didn't want to immediately settle for me? I guess that's a lower threshold of attractiveness.

The question is, how can I play this? It's rough because finals mean nobody does anything social for the next month, but I dunno.

Confirmed. No idea what to expect from this. You guys have an hour to tell me how to prepare.

We're going to see a movie of her choice and then grabbing drinks. She is a.) very smart b.) extremely pretty and doesn't look as old as she is.

I can't imagine this is the girl you'd want to date (first cheated on her boyfriend, then once she was single decided she didn't even like YOU anymore, except as some sort of confidence-boosting plaything. But if you do want to pursue it, I think you need to withdraw a bit and make her chase you.
