At there very least I'd probably make my rounds and say hi to the people i know. Just say you need a new drink and take your time getting back to the group.
yeah i mean, my friends would come by and talk to me and her friend. it wasnt like we were in a corner by ourselves. obv i agree i should have at least said hi to the girl im crushin on

so we're now fbook friends. weirdly, she friended my friend who her friend went up to to talk to in the beginning of the night, but not me. reasons for this could be:
1. she knows he has a gf so it doesnt matter if she friends him because she isnt trying to play any games with him
2. she likes him but not me,
3. she forgot my name (possible because i only said it once when we met and i tend to mumble).
i friended her today though (im sure people are gonna hate on me for that). anyway, her fbook status from the afternoon after was:
"law school bar fight 2012: that **** cray"
and her friend commented:
"That was nuts! Guy was such a twit. Hats off to those boys who defended me and ___
"
so maybe causing a scene wasnt such a bad thing
