Hence the 2-3 hour driving distance where making a trip to a game is reasonable, and yet he's never been to one game. So I call BS that he is a big fan.




And no, sporting events are not "stupid expensive" if you plan ahead and pick off nights. I can even get Red Sox tickets for about $30 on Stubhub.

If you are a Yankees fan, you can go to one of their next 3 games against the Brewers who are a solid team for $5 a ticket.

Where do you live in Canada? Jays have also been pretty terrible for many years. Either way, you've still been to a Jays game.

Pretty sure if you are human being you'd prefer to watch the game with friends.


If the reason for you not being able to go to games is because you live too far away or don't have friends who would go, then I can give you a pass.

how about inviting friends over to watch the game? this is basically every sunday for me. not sure why anyone would prefer $9 beer and **** weather over red zone channel and couches.

Easy to forgot others have to deal with real weather wrt football when all I have are dome games.


And if you are watching Red Zone, then you probably are just a fan of the NFL and really aren't too passionate about a specific team. I don't care, just don't claim you are a real fan of a team (say you are bandwagon if that's what you are) and then have never been to a game despite living close to that team's stadium. Just look at the UK, ffs. People travel great distances to watch soccer games; I'm sure if you lived 3 hours away from your favorite team and called yourself a fan of a that team, you would've been to a game already.

Really the only time I could see someone preferring to go to a game alone then watch it on TV with friends if it were a playoff game. Even then, you are probably a sociopath.

i couldn't disagree more. i find watching games in my living room much more enjoyable than going to the stadium. sometimes it's nice to mix it up and go to the stadium but it doesn't necessarily make it more enjoyable than relaxing on my couch.

also, wtf @ your view of redzone?! i'm a die hard fan of my team but don't hesitate to flip back and forth between my team's channel and the redzone. if i leave the room to check on my fantasy team, am i not passionate about my real team?
