played poker with steve martin tonight. he sat down, said maybe 2-3 words while playing 5-6 pots in three hours, then left. everyone was cool about it, letting him play without bothering him, then someone new sits down and says "awww shiiiiit, i gotsta show my wifey this, she gonna go crazy!" and he left shortly afterwards.

Story-wise it doesn't deviate much though. It was probably the truest film adaptation I know of from a King book. Pretty sure after The Shining he stopped letting his books getting adapted without him being significantly involved.

That's pretty awesome. Not surprised that someone eventually ****ed things up; I'm actually impressed that he got a full table to respect him and let him just relax and play poker for that long.

the bottle matters a lot imo b/c if it was in a cup for a day with higher surface area it'd be waaaaaay worse, plus bottles insulate temperature better

Kid I know will go around a house the day after a party, find all the solo cups with **** in them, and drink them. He loves warm flat beer. Its so nasty, I've seen him get drunk off it too, he'll just find so many damn cups.

ugh, don't get me started on bankers. i got pulled over once on my way home from doing charity work with the blind. i was speeding home because my friend was going to commit suicide since he hadn't fulfilled his lifelong ambition of becoming a banker. he couldn't live without being a banker.

well his parents wanted him to be a banker. when he was just a boy, his father would bring him to the bank and stand him on the counter and say "Sonny boy, that's going to be you some day".
