FMO,
Charleston is lovely. Look for a speed boat tour there that's a lot of fun. Can't remember the name of it right now, but it's high in their tourist attractions section on TripAdvisor.

Chip tha ripper has to be some of the best smoking music I've been listening to lately. Lyrics are pretty legit and sometimes make me lol

i like his song feel good. always makes me want to do some goofy type of walk/dance. hard to explain.

i created 4 mashups today for fun. the links go to streams with an option to download so there's no type of commitment in listening. also i'm not saying they're good. bearable though forsure.

I don't really have specific questions to be honest though.

Maybe you could say something shortly on what it's like being there outside of academia? Do you know anything of the HSCI besides what is publicly know/their website?

What program are you talking about? I did the REU at Harvard last year (worked in computer science department) and knew people from a lot of the other research internships.

Re: ***Student Life Low Content Garbage Chatter Thread***

I'm pretty set on going to school for economics. They have the B.A. and the B.S. From what I'm gathering the BA is more theory where as the BS is heavily weighted towards math.

From a job perspective the B.S. is better out of the gate if you wanna get into business asap.

Math was never my strong point but I can learn it. If I'm thinking about graduate school or law school down the road is it better to get the B.A. with a solid minor or tough it out and get the B.S. which may hurt my GPA quite a bit if future schooling is on the horizon.

We just decided to go the other day. I wasnt sure if i was committed or not. We drove through the night last night and toured Monticello today. Driving to DC now in the pouring rain.

LKJ, I'll look into that.

Karak, Sup?

I'm not really doing any program, since I'm from Europe and am just trying to fix something up myself that needs to be minimum 5 months.
So what I did was basically e-mail lab leaders at the HSCI and the few that responded I am talking to now.
(Just had a talk with one of them, expected a lot more interview-like but it was just a short talk. No idea what to think of it, there are 4 candidates for 1-2 spots.)

PM me your # if you want.
