Well dammit goofy, don't shift goalposts on me. You were denying any chance in Iowa just a couple of days ago.
Anyway, while I agree that he would still be a longshot even upon hypothetically winning Iowa, I can't see the Iowa winner ever being someone who truly has zero chance. If Bachmann can't beat Paul in Iowa, it may be a death blow; it would at least be close. If Pawlenty can't finish top three there, I bet he's done soon after. Suddenly he's more viable to get nominated than either of them, and he's lining up on the short list. It would still be Romney's to lose, but if he had some kind of PR disaster (even if it has to be outright fabricated a la Howard Dean), you just never know to a certainty.
That said, this is still going to be Romney or Perry getting nominated in all likelihood. I'm not saying otherwise.
