It's been a few years since they got together (which i think is very important and should negate whatever "sloppy seconds" discussion there is). See I'm not terribly interested in her (she's nice/semi-interesting, but she's maybe a 6/10 and i'd like to start aiming higher), there have been other girls in the last few weeks that are better so I don't want to settle for the one that obv wants me. She'd be easy to get with, but I'd prefer to spend time working on the others.

Any Micro-Econ majors?

the game was like the final game in some stadium... the last stand i think they dubbed the game.

Was 20-tabling at 6pm intending to skip my 6:05 class. Won 2 buy-ins a few minutes after sitting down so I decided to just leave and go to class; as I show up a few minutes late I realize everyone is writing the final. This is international Finance I so not exactly hard stuff but I'd missed 1.5 lectures in the past 3 weeks (one a week) and obviously hadn't studied/looked at anything. I ran back to my place a few minutes away, grabbed my calculator and pencil, and ended up finishing the exam 1 hour early and I'm pretty sure I got only one question totally wrong worth 5%. I'll probably get an A in the class. Yay.

Here's to hoping my other exams go as well and somewhat better prepared.

So I'm in my second year (of three) doing sports science at a top 10 University in England. What should I be doing to increase my employability for when I graduate? Also, I've never had a job (lolpoker) is this going to be a major issue and should I try to get some part time work next summer just so it can go on my cv?

How would I rank the VA undergrads? Meh. That's tough.

State schools?

UVA #1 (and #1 of all schools in VA, obv)
VT/JMU tied for #2 prob (although I think JMU >>>> VT for business and it's not close. Obv VT >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> JMU for engineering.)
GMU #3

Am I forgetting any state schools?

I don't really count WM as a state school. It's pseudo-private, or I'd bump it up there too (above both JMU and VT).

VA has an amazing collegiate-level school system.

On second though I'd prob put VCU above GMU.

All schools... hmm... this is tougher. Just off the top of my head I'd say:

#1 UVA
#2 UR
#3 WM
#4 Washington and Lee??? Unsure.
#5 JMU/VT

I'm sure I'm missing someone.

VA law schools is EZPZ to rank, though:

#1 UVA
#2 WM
#3 WL (although WM and WL are close... WM has the clear edge recently)
#4 GMU
#5 UR
#6+ everyone else

1. JMU
2. The Rest

oh we arent talking about chicks are partying? nvm. i dont know anything about academics
11-27-2009 , 03:26 PM
On general undergrad programs I wouldn't be putting VCU above GMU

Try to get a part-time job in your field or volunteer a few hours per week with someone and do a good job and get them to write you a recommendation of some kind to any prospective employers.

Try going to career advisory service in your university.

What is UR? Also, where would you put ODU? Is that a **** school? Didn't it used to be part of WM?
