Lol. I really wish you wouldn't be a bitch and you'd play me.

And yes, if you want to, you can turn around and drive backwards while drinking.

Beer funnel would be legal imo, but remember that you start with the beer uncracked. So you'd have to pour it while the game is going on.

Can I pour while I drive? or like during ajump or something? and then let the foam go down for a lap or so, and then chug a lug imo

Hey GG/others

I'm feelin some new hip-hop and need a playlist. I tried to d/l gg's last one that he posted itt but something happened w/ the file.

I have the teach me how to dougie song stuck in my head and I need to fix that right now.

You should never chug all at once imo, obviously the maps with the most railings least space to fall are the ones you want to chug the most on as falling is the most opportune time to drink. Thats why we incorporated the must drink some eaqch lap rule so people dont either shotgun at start of race or right before finish line.

We play you can not drink during jumps cause you are accelrating, you must be on ground.

The ebst times to drink are:

1. when you are small(lightning)
2. after getting hit
3. after falling
4. with red shells(since we let you shoot them you can drink and keep eye on screen and fire at people who pass you

obviously getting it cracked and a good chug in the beginning is key

Honestly, I'm gonna be sitting in front of the computer for a long-ass time for the rest of this month, between playing cards and writing 4,000 papers, so whatever is good for that type of grind.

I think DailyDoubleBMichael is the guy that thinks he's coming off as ribbing/joking, but all of his friends actually think he's being douchey.... but are too nice to tell him.

landed a music gig on TV today -- been in the works for about a month, but it's official now. Documents signed, part of paycheck in hand.

It's not a show that any of you have/would ever watch, some talk show or some **** for old people, idk. But it's a sicko resume boost and the show is syndicated all over the country, so they are quite literally forced to pay me a good bit more since I get no cuts of royalties =)

Essentially, huuuuuge career step potentially. The show itself isn't a HUGE deal, but the networking opportunities are massive. There will be 2 record producers there to check out the gig. The phrase that I was told was "auditioning for a career," so it's kind of a big deal. Going up to Greenville, SC in a few weeks for taping, but might parlay into another TV show that films out in Denver, as well as some recording and possibly touring work.

It's weird, over the past 2 yrs or so, I have just basically decided not to get stressed about stuff (looooooooooooong story there, I'll pry get drunk and type it eventually, but just assume lots of mental health stuff, lotttttttttts of drinking/pills), and I've been getting way more work than usual. Hooooray.

Also, I have decided that the music industry is essentially perfect for me -- I'm not into hard drugs though. It just has the "laid back, but you can basically get as much out of it as you put into it" feel -- kinda like what poker has, which is really motivating.

coolstorybro.jpg i know but i was pretty damn pumped lol

Very nice man sounds like a sick opportunity for you, I hope it turns out well. I'm curious what is the show that tapes in Denver?
11-12-2010 , 04:07 PM
Vintage,

Sick. What instrument you play? Link to band page w songs?
11-12-2010 , 04:28 PM
I'm a percussionist mainly, but I can play piano, guitar, or a tinnnnny bit of brass stuff. My vocal range is decent, probably baritone-alto at the extremes. Not quite a bass and def not a soprano lol.

For this gig I'll be doing a little bit of rhythm guitar, but mostly percussion. We are hiring a drumset player, so I'm basically playing everything that's NOT kit -- primarily African/Indian/Moroccan style hand-drumming.

Here's a link to my new boss's page. He does a lot of work with veteran groups and religious groups (this talk show is a quasi-religious show I think). Outside of that tribute-esque stuff, there are some original tracks on there. Most are pretty long, but they change a LOT. Good to have on just in the background imo

Take a listen to the samples, lemme know what you think.

Also, I know this might be weird, and maybe not the right forum, but I feel a bit hypocritical performing on a religious show. It's not that I'm NOT religious, idk..

Meh, just don't worry about the religious stuff imo.

Sick though. Hope it goes well.

About to head to Auburn for the weekend so that I can see the DAWGS pull off the sick upset.

Newsflash - If Cam Newton plays, we're ****ed.

Also, you got another ticket by chance? I might be driving out there tonight
11-12-2010 , 04:43 PM
Nah, but I'm sure you could find one for face value. I'm a be up at the crack of dawn tailgating with a lot of friends and handles. Hit me up if you end up heading there.
11-12-2010 , 04:48 PM
ohhhh yeah you told me about that ****. I'll def hit you up if I'm in town.

What was it... beam handles? or EW?
11-12-2010 , 04:54 PM
EW. Might be something else this year though because I drank some EW last night and it was ****ing terrible.
11-12-2010 , 05:00 PM
awww your taste buds are finally growing up. congrats.

In one of my Chem E classes I missed the first exam due to sudden unbearable intestinal pain a few hours before exam and ended up getting a 0 on it because I didn't notify the prof before hand (I was in so much pain it didn't even seem important at the time - sounds silly now but it really was that bad, I was basically writhing in bed hating my existence). 15% of my grade gone, almost dropped the class. Just aced the second exam, 100%, and now my prof says that if I do really well again on the third exam he'll let me take the first exam and get a huge chunk of my grade back. So happy.
11-12-2010 , 05:31 PM
Sick - congrats.

Proof that professors are, in fact, human beings.
