no. i started playing around sophomore year and gave money away like it was my job. i had no idea how to play/what i was doing/anything.
i was a terrible player for about a year and a half. i finally started making money from it this past summer, i worked as a waiter and put a lot of that money into pokerstars and began taking it really seriously and i started making money, but it took me a while to get back to even from losing a good amount when i started out.

this year i was making just enough (not a lot at all) to allow me to afford beer and not have to work as a waiter on weekends during the school year (i worked on weekends junior year because i was a losing poker player).

in the last 2 weeks i won a tourney for 4700 and went deep in the sunday million for 3200. couldnt have happened at a better time. its hard to walk away, especially when im playing my best poker ive ever played, but i feel its the right thing to do right now.

I think the .02 and under is if it was drank legally like some church related function or something.

.02 is the legal limit if you're under 21. The reason does not matter. This is because there are products, such as scope and cooking alcohol that will make your bac go over .00

BTW, if there is enough evidence, you can still get a DUI if you blow under .08. And don't forget, you can get a DUI for being on other substances than alcohol.

If you are <21 and blow say a .05, don't you get a DUI for that? or just MIP? I am kind of confused by all this stuff, and really trying to figure out how dumb my friends are for just drinking and driving like it's jaywalking.

They are. Trust me on that.

BTW, I did a rough correlation study on my friends and I want you to test it out. In my group of friends, pretty much all of the friends who have a RED bottle opener as a part of their keychain have been to jail.

Yours?

I don't think we agree on the effective danger that drunk driving creates. I'm really surprised at your stance on this since I usually find your posts insightful and/or funny. This mentality you mention here just blows my mind.

I think he's triyng to say you are much more likely to get a DUI than to kill someone driving drunk.

However, you not only need to evaluate probability but also severity x probability. Obviously getting a DUI is insanely less severe than killing someone. One is detrimental to your life's path. The other will almost certainly alter your life severely forever.

played in a friends fundraising poker tourny last night, with like 48 people. Got somewhat deep and got it AIPF w/AKo and lost to 32 obv on a board of AQ533

had fun regardless though

I know what he meant. What you said is the point I was getting at. We're on the same page.

Just watched the matrix reloaded. That made me realise there was such a thing as too many looong fight scenes in a movie.

2nd one would have been as good as the first one if the fight scene/philosophy stuff was a little bit better spread out.
03-03-2010 , 10:43 AM
It was better than I remembered than the first time I watched it as I kinda got more of the philosophy stuff of it as I'm older, but when you go out to have a phone call, come back in and neo is still hitting people with a pole its kinda long.

I seem to be one of a few people who liked the third movie just as much as the first.

I never even saw the third one because the second one was such a big letdown after the first one.

Good decisions 2010. I feel dumber still, and I watched the 3rd one a long time ago.

Yea, I dunno if I`m stupid but I don't completely understand all the conversations and things going on in 2&3. 1 was great though.

Sitting on the deck right now drinking a beer, just got done playing golf.

Variance: there was a 14 foot alligator on the 18th tee box.
Brag: moved back to the tips b/c I'm not ****ing around with a gator, and screamed a drive in the fairway.
Beat: Bogeyed the hole. Damn three putts.

HAPPY SPRING BREAK SL!
