Seems like walking into a leper colony is a steep price to pay to get haters mad.

WTF at having underwear from 2005.

Make sure it is a light pima cotton. Beyond that it is really a personal preference. Also context matters -- if you pick up constantly you'll need different underwear than if you have a GF. GF underwear will be different than if you never get laid.

GF underwear -- been together since 2003. Maybe that's why I haven't bought new underwear...

Hugo Boss is good. Good quality but not out to impress price -- Usually $35-40 for 3.

Oh nice. It gets down around 50-55 degrees at night here. I turn the A/C off for the night at midnight and go to bed. Wake up an hour later, freezing. Temp outside is 58 degrees, and roommates have turned the A/C back on. Do I kill them or not?

Your roommates are idiots. Explain this to them. And then kill them.

He's right. If you just kill them without explanation, they might feel victimized. The movie-style explanation is necessary here. Just don't take too long, or they'll find a way to escape.

Re: Low Content Garbage Chatter Thread

Figured this probs doesnt need its own thread... so here goes...

I live in the UK, im currently at college (step before uni) and am 19, ill be 20 in may however when i finish the 2 year course that i started last september which will enable me to go to uni ill be 21.

Is there really an issue with me wanting to go to uni at that age (obv not the studying part but more socialising), in the first year i'd be living in halls and im guessing everyone else will be around 18/19 years old so ill be 2-3 years older than everyone else.

Does anyone see this as an awkward situation or am i just being stupid/way off with how old everyone else will be?

Dunno about the UK, but here in the US, being 21 and starting out school would totally be fine, and you'd def make friends easily since you'd be a hookup for alcohol.

Re: Low Content Garbage Chatter Thread

Older was never an issue. Starting school when you were 18 and 95% of the students were 19 and thus legal to drink was an issue but older is fine.

Again this might differ depending on location.

It's really not going to be an issue - I'm from the UK and I'm surprised you've got this impression from somewhere. There will be almost certainly be older people than you on your course (what are you going to study?) and potentially even in your flat in halls.
