yeah, thats all there is. just watch the demos on the website.

you fill out a thing on lsac, print out the pre-filled forms, give to prof, they sign it, send it out to lsac, etc.

the only other glitch is if you do targeted letters.

I'm pretty sure lolasthma rejects the concept of "douchebag" at a conceptual level. Given his display of capitalization and analogy usage skills ITT, Yale will miss him dearly.

People naturally love to retroactively complain about or preemptively lower expectations about their performances in hopes of impressing people. It almost never works.

im pretty sure whether or not someone chooses to capitalize their letters on a poker message board is not a function of intelligence. but iono, i could be wrong.

this.

i mean, really? are you really that much of a nit / desperate for a way to insult me that you bring up something as trivial as lack of capitalization twice in this thread?

I can pretty much guarantee that you go through life oblivious to the wide range of people who think you suck but don't feel the need to tell you about it.

Before you say you don't care what others think of you, ask yourself why you posted your 173 on an internet message board.

i hope that's not the case. i care a great deal about what others think of me. that's why i bothered to defend myself when my complaint was met with a bunch of hostile responses

back to some real law school q's:

I am fairly set on taking a year off now -- I've been accepted to Duke/Cornell/GT thus far. I have applied for deferrals, but it doesn't look like that is a guarantee right now. If the school I end up wanting to go to (visiting soon) doesn't grant me a deferral, how bad will it look to take a year off, work (play poker), and reapply next cycle? Will they view me in a negative light?

I am just contemplating the possibility that they accepted me this year, then see me apply next year and think, "does this kid even wanna go to law school?" etc.

Thoughts?

Malice, this is probablly very school specific so dont worry about it until you hear something back.

Not constructive, but this thread makes me happy to go to law school where I'm at, and not surrounded by some of you people. I only got 164 on my LSAT, so I'll probably be serving your secretary coffee or something. But at least I got a full scholarship so the lack of debt/lack of job cancel out!

More talk about how ******ed text books are, how ugly the girls are, how often you play multiplayer online hearts during class with 3 other classmates, etc.

Oh, and I served papers on some bitch via mail a few days ago, met with a judge today to get an in forma pauperis signed, and filed some papers. I'm appealing a case from small claims to the trial court and it's exciting since it's the first 'real law' I've done (only a 1L).

I just got an offer to participate in a class action settlement for some online scam. My settlement...$10! And I have to come up with an acct # to claim it. Eff that. Congrats to the plaintiff's lawyers though.

I didn't buy any books this semester, which is apparently standard.

Oh, Milberg Weiss (sp?) just hired the judge who let their felon former co-partner continue to collect fees from the firm while in jail. Riiiight.

Some douche from undergrad I never liked just got fired from Latham. Yay!

I'm drunk. Can you tell.

I can tell.

Went to apply for a bar exam loan just to get some extra cash in case my firm doesn't let me start til May 2015.

They want current employment info or offer letter indicating employment within 4 months.

Cool, since nobody is starting at a big firm within 4 months of graduation.

If I were a biglaw partner, I'd be in the "I'll take a $100k (5-15%) pay cut so we don't have to fire people" camp. Then again, I don't have alimony payments and a house in the Hamptons.

170 + black = winning life lottery ticket. If you care to do it, you're about 75%+ for a SCOTUS clerkship.

i'm strongly inclined to disbelieve this until/unless you have some kind of evidence to substantiate it

not meaning to be hostile or overly critical, but that's an extremely strong claim and to me it seems pretty doubtful on its face

You're going to fit right in with the rest of the douchebags that infest American law schools.
