Girls / Clubbing / Glasses / Confidence / Game Girls / Clubbing / Glasses / Confidence / Game

Hey 2p2,

I wear glasses and when i'm clubbing and I'm obliterated as usual I notice that when I 'pick up' / 'get with' a chick on the D floor i only can distinguish 3 characteristics > height, glasses, hair color...

And if they wear glasses I don't get with them (I have no idea why)... soooo im wondering if this is also vica versa ?

And the other question I have is for all the glasses wearers out there who switched to contacts, do you feel more confident in general with contacts and when approaching women? Does it make no difference to you?

And last question is how do you overcome the fear of rejection?

I have to get smashed to have the confidence I need to get with a chick, which is kinda annoying imo, this is because I've been rejected a few times and damn it hurts my ego / confidence hard...

Feel free to share any experiences relating to this (keep it clubbing orientated / going out if possible) ^^

Once you start getting laid a lot you just brush it off. People have different preferences and you can't take it too personal.

Get a good career and keep your looks up and you'll be confident in who you are to the point where it doesn't matter. Until then fake it until you make it with getting drunk.

Get rid of the glasses and switch to contacts or just find glasses that makes you look good. The problem is you think you're less attractive because you wear glasses so your insecurity's come out when you talk to girls. Go to the opticians and get contacts for like a week trial, If you notice a positive difference with your confidence and girls then ditch the glasses for good and go with contacts.

hmm it might be, i've just never really looked into getting contacts though, i have no idea why tbh, i'm usually pretty confident but when it comes to hooking up with girls in clubs not so much? I just find it to 'forward' for some reason and I don't really like doing it w/o knowing the person haha

I believe it is possible/does as you age, but I was 21 when I got it done, so should be good until my 40s. Also, the place I got it done has a lifetime warranty or something where I can go back in for a "touch up" if it degrades. Cost me $4500 for everything. Been almost 7 years now and no problems aside from dry eyes once in a while easily fixed with eye drops.

you'll have to get a prescription for your eyes and that prescription will have to remain relatively constant for a few years. if your eyes are still changing too much you won't be eligible for surgery. this is why most ppl that receive laser eye surgery are 30+. that said ive heard nothing but good things about the surgery. also the cost will be offset with the long term opp. cost of purchasing contacts, glasses, prescriptions, etc.

as mentioned get contacts and/or stylish glasses. i have the large rimmed hipster style glasses and although i seldom wear them in social settings i've been complimented on them when i do.

tl;dr
you cant get eye surgery yet. wear contacts or stylish glasses instead.

Keep the glasses. Smart chicks think they're hot, and those are the freaks.

I switched to contacts about 12 months ago. No idea why I didn't do it sooner.

Look and feel so much better

+1
I've switched to contacts a year ago and it was really cool (I literally had forgotten how I look without glasses), but a lot of girls told me they used to like the glasses, so now I wear them again.

All of this is subjective to every person. Just be yourself (except when you suck)

I finally got contacts, I feel I look worse with them on? Do you reckon it's because i'm not used to it? My eyes feel naked/small lol.
